everything from the 80s and 90s was great now it's all weak and the trucks the Actros from 1996 was durable while the new one drops damages at very few KMs
You beat me to getting an image of this truck, I see it around quite a lot but unfortunately I'm working so can't whip out the camera. It's got a Faun Variopress packer on the back from Germany. Did you see any of the Suez sidelosders, would like to see what you thought of our sidelosders in the flesh if you got a chance to see one. Nice stuff though mate, hope you enjoyed Brisbane, not as big as LA but still a nice place to live, even through the humid summers 😂! The recycling is getting better in Brisbane, the nicer suburbs definately recycle well but it's a different story in suburbs with more dodgy people and also the councils of Ipswich and Logan.

Hey MacDonald. I'm interested becomming a garbe truck driver and would appreciate some advice. I'm 17 almost 18 and still on my L's on my car lisense and was wondering what it'd take to be garbage truck driver. I'd appreciate it if you could give my any tips for starting my carrer with this job. Or your steps you took to be a garbage Truck driver, I'd appreciate it thanks
Cool video Zack! Wow thats a cool feature for the rear auto pack. Makes me wonder too why we havent added that to modern RLs. So you living in Austraillia now? Gonna miss the videos you would take in California.
Thanks! I believe we don't have them due to ANSI/OSHA rules. If someones arm gets caught when it is packing there is a risk for injury which is why we have the 2 step lower and sweep hopper function. I'm Australia for school at the moment but I'll be back in California in July!
Neat truck, that's for sure! You should think about filming some of the residential collections around your area - would be pretty cool if you got that! And I'd strongly encourage you to talk to TH-cam user AussieGarbo (Mitch) about the different trucks in Australia. He's a driver over there, and I'm sure he'd be happy to give you information about the different trucks they run over there.
