I’ll say this about Jaylen Brown, while he has highlight athleticism and could probably dunk it whenever he’d like, he uses it in a crafty way and doesn’t dunk all the time, presumably to preserve his body. He is a smart guy and I wouldn’t be shocked if he says something similar!
Mark my words... the killer “J’s” are going to be THE premier and dynamic duo of the NBA! The ceiling for these two are just astronomical. Both have the potential to be perennial All-Stars and All-NBA type guys. If the Celtics can lock them both down to long term contracts, they are gonna have probably the brightest future of any team of the league
He's what 6'7 going around 220 or more with explosive speed in the open court, a 40-inch vert, and the ability to knock down the 3. He's really putting his handles together as well and clearly, he's been studying Kobe's(Jordan) footwork in the post and with the 1-2 dribble pull-up. Sky's the limit for him because we know he's a two-way player. I think Jimmy Butler or Kawhi is his mark. He's more athletic than both of them he just has to continue to improve his skill set, work on his fundamentals and he will probably be an All-Star next year. Love his game actually more than watching Tatum TBH.
Still need to stay on ground a lil more on fakes, and more consistency on offensive end. His handling took a huge leap this year. If Tatum & Brown can stay together whole career. Be like Jordan & Pippen. What Tatum lacks on d, Brown can do, what brown lacks on o, Tatum can do. And both barely scratching surface of their potential. Brown is great team player / leader also.

Love them both but I’d say JB since he’s the first Celtic drafted I’ve bee extremely hyped for, and he’s proven me right every season with big noticeable improvements! Every improvement is being measured with him, he has a lot more to his bag and will show it as he keeps progressing. Sky is the limit for him, fun watching him rise up to his potential as he keeps setting the bar higher every season. On the other hand, with Jayson we kinda almost knew what to expect from him, not taking away anything from him either as he’s also shown improvements in his game.
DeRozan has nothing on Jaylen the young man is really starting to come into his own and once he do NBA look out he will instill fear in opponents ❤ hearts just like the way MJ did.
