Indeed! I just purchased the xt4 and went looking for a handstrap. Peak design was the way to go with my canon dslr’s using the capture clip for those in combination with the canon handstrap and it works like a charm. Very difficult to find a solution that doesn’t bulk up the body and give a secure grip for the Fuji. :(

    • @funkyboogiee

I got it on my XT4 when I first got the camera. it is handy for carrying but yeah shooting it is awkward positioning for shutter button but I've used it as such loosened up. it's not perfect though for the XT4 that's for sure. I only saw this video today after over a year owning both! haha..

the one update I'd like to see made to clutch is having a quicker way to remove the tripod mount that doesn't include an Allen wrench. Or even just including an additional screw mount that can be easily unscrewed from the bottom of the camera so I can attach my different tripod mounts. I ended up just buying a screw mount from Amazon with a loop on it from Amazon for $5

Owner of an X-T4 here; This is an awesome grip but yes! It does feel funky and when using it I only have 3 fingers within since the other works with the capture button.

Hi.. Does it have a standard size? or does it vary which region it’s sold? I noticed that the tail in the video seems to be longer compared to what I just bought. Mine doesn’t extend as far as it did in the video and I don’t have big hands. 🤔

@JimiCanRead I mean the digital OM-1. I checked the dimensions and the G80 is only a few mm smaller than the OM-1, so I imagine it will work on the G80 just fine. It's smaller bodies like the Olympus EM5 where it should likely not fit well.

I’m a hybrid snooter and I often take the camera from the gimbal to take photos the I mount it back in. With the current neck strap I can do that, but with this one that requires me to replace the gimbal bottom plate with its own it’s such a bummer that stops me from buying this hand strap. I already have the neck strap.

I wish this video was available much earlier when I bought the PD Clutch for my XT-20 back in 2017.
I was always a fan of a hand strap since the days I had an EOS-A2 (EOS 5 non-digital) and had nice grip strap with quick release (pulling on the strap buckle to release it) - back then OP//Tech pretty much ruled the roost locally. I bought the PD Clutch blindly because of this and ran into the same problem where the strap interfered with the shutter release button on top of the camera.
It's a real pity though as the PD system is nice - I still do use the PD Slide (Fujifilm branded) with my XT-20 that I got for a very nice price thanks to the local Fuji club.

@@owlmostdead9492 Normal size hands! What camera are you shooting? I can’t see how the clutch wouldn’t fit even huge hands, as my hands are normal size and I have to tighten the clutch quite a bit to make it feel snug for me

I removed the PD strap and noticed that even without it my hand is right up against that metal connection point.. my pinky is also barely holding onto the grip and is almost falling off.
