I remember when this game came out...we got it immediately and the FF series has been one of my favorites since (except X and after...I just can't get into those). Very informative and so much info I never knew! Great video!
Do this ' 3 second ' rule - most decide whether or not to fully watch a video within the FIRST 3 seconds ! So i suggest doing something much cooler : )
@@lavalamp505 Of course ! I absolutely love informative videos ( as i'm a information horder myself LOL ) though our kind is quite oblivious to how to market ! It definitely helps researching how to correctly hold attention through video editing according to our psychology : D

By the way, and interesting tidbit is that, years later, Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square-Enix to form Mistwalker (as is well known). Their initial releases for the Xbox in 2006-2007 (Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon) weren't all that successful however. So he again sort of started working on another "hail-mary" like he did with Final Fantasy, the Wii exclusive game "The Last Story" which was released in 2011. You can see the similarities in the naming of both names: "Last" is to "Final" what "Story" is to "Fantasy". The game was fun, with great aesthetics and an interesting story. Sadly, it seems it didn't work this time since that game was effectively the last console game Sakaguchi ever released. After that, Mistwalker changed directions and they started releasing mobile games. Sad ending to a visionary developer... :(
I actually loved last story lol. I hadn’t thought about that in years. It’s a shame he seems to have faded out but his legacy will always remain as, imo, one of the fathers of the RPG genre

I thought that I knew the story of FF1 by heart, but you add a new dimension to it that really surprised me.
