- Sky News Contributor Megyn Kelly says Dilbert creator Scott Adams “understandably and predictably” got cancelled.
“He’s basically cancelled himself - all the newspapers have fired him, his distributor fired him, and he had to know it was going to happen,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“The reason it happened was because he went out there after seeing a poll that showed something like 48 or 47 per cent of black people poll were not willing to sign on to the idea that being white is ok.
“So he went out there and … said, ‘I used to identify as black because I wanted to be part of the winning team - well, now I realise I’ve inadvertently joined a hate group, and what I’m going to tell everybody is I’m leaving this hate group, and I advise all white people to get the blank away from black people.”

Megyn is just being her herself, i.e. a media whore with no principles, standards or scruples.
He based his opinion on a survey with a sample size of 1000 people. Only about 100 of which were actually black, and fewer than that actually took issue with the statement, it’s okay to be white. I’d hardly call that the truth.

I started to listen to Scott Adams from his very first podcast. He has been promoting civil rights for black and even reached a BLM leader in NY. He is Not a racist. He teaches persuasion skill and how to spot fake news etc. This rant is his way to push the issue to public discourse. On target Persuasion.

When you do watch the news, anytime a black has been in a physical altercation with police, they generally refused to obey orders and usually attacked or fought with police. In all these cases, there is a protest that gets lots of attention. The nightly drivebys, robberies and gang activity gets little to no attention unless someone gets killed...often an innocent victim living in there run down community and not mentioned again unless it was a child.

Well... I'll take the bait. Are there some black people that hate white people... I'm pretty sure. But aren't there people who hate in general? Why ask about one group? What about white people? Hispanics, Hawaiian, middle eastern? But similar to this poll, and if we use the same logic... the amount that hate white people are certainly outnumbered by the number of white people that hate them. My guess if you took the same sample size 13% for black and 63%white divided that by 50% that means 31.5% of white people vs 6.5%black people hate the other group. OMG! I'd say I'll cancel my newspaper subscription out of protest for Scott, but I already canceled that about a decade ago. Who still reads newspapers? Not only was it old by the time you read it, but they're just as biased as the mainstream media.

I don't believe he is racist nor do I think his statement was motivated by racism and in a broader context (with his clarification) it could be said not to be racist. However, his comments were poorly structured and his words were poorly chosen because the quote that made the headlines, technically, was racist. He attributed the negative traits and behaviours of a smaller cohort of Blacks to all Blacks. Whilst he may have been on the money for the smaller cohort he wasn't when it comes to all Blacks.
The real issue here is that many many others have made far more unpalatable racist comments without being called out and certainly never penalised. I suspect the insidious seep of woke culture and ideology (a superset of modern feminism, diversity & inclusion, intersectionality and identity politics) into every aspect of our lives, may have played a part in his choice of words.
The ideology has a hierarchy of discrimination, including racism, at its very core, it is built on dividing society into ever smaller groups whilst attributing identical behaviours, need, traits, characteristics, identities to all members of the group. A hierarchy or ordering of groups via victimhood is established and used to identify the victim and the oppressor, for example all blacks are victims whilst all whites are oppressors, that's why they make the claim Blacks can't be racist. Another example, all women are victims whilst all men are oppressors, leading to the idea a rich woman is more oppressed than a homeless man.
I think Adams was desensitized over a period of time by all the groupspeak in modern society, all the racism and sexism across msm, social media, tech platforms, advertising, Government and Corporate policies etc, his thinking was so clouded, that he expressed his opinion in a form of groupspeak. Rather than more clearly identifying that he was not referring to all Black people nor all Black communities, just the ones with violence problems. Either that or he is just sick and tired of the all the BS and decided F it.

LOL,. As Kelly said. He cancelled himself. He was stupid to express his personal opinions about polls taken, and view of blacks. Much like celebrities and others, you do that at your own risk. It isn't part of the job, (what you get paid for) For some jobs like Talk shows and media people, it' is part of the job to express personal opinions publicly. For others it isn't. So, if the company or employer believes it to be a problem you will get let go or fired unless they are willing to back you.
Whether I agree with the personal opinion or not, I have no sympathy as these people are smart enough to know what the possible, or most likely consequences of their actions may be.
I can't help but reflect on colleges/universities having separate graduation ceremonies for black students. How bizarre.

What I find most interesting about this story... The amount of people ( including the reporters) who refuse to actually read what he was so fake mad about.
1. It was a poll of 1k people... That is not enough people to consider it a representation of US.
2. The question in the poll was an "I gotcha" question to begin with.
3. Learn how to read a poll! That's not how they work! People, including adams, everyone that's also fake mad and reporters are making up their own answers... Which tells you that the poll was bad.
