3:10 Rev. Wilbert Awdry after he wrote the story "Gordon and the Famous Visitor", he used the train model remote control to make it go fast, that he fiddled with the button on the wonky eyes.

3:11 - Not a goof. Apparently the valve gear they used on his model didn't properly fit, so they had to remove some of the casing so the wheels could turn. It's the same on his other side, and you'll spot them in every episode the camera lets you see them. So it's more of a technical compromise than a goof.

I’ve been binge watching these and I love that you’re continuing these, but there are two things I need to point out
Firstly in this video there’s a missed goof : When Gordon wheeshs the tricks the narrator says “they crowded round no matter what he did” but as far as we know the tricks can’t move on their own, so how could they crowd him?
And secondly PLEASE change the intro music, I mean you even acknowledge yourself that it sucks, it’s VERY annoying when you listen to it so many times in a row and doesn’t really serve a purpose to the rest of the video

Here are some more sins. The trucks laughed at Gordon when really people should've done so because that's what happened in the original story. Likewise, Duck should've said: 'He's too famous to notice me.' Instead, Thomas spoke.

To keep in mind that these were actually done on actual model railway sets so they didn't have custom seats for every time they had to reuse footage sometimes

I think they did their best not to show that City of Truro didn't have a face, but I guess they didn't do such a good job. As for the coaches, maybe they're supposed to be being pulled backwards and we very often see them from the front. Funny thing is, they didn't even make the coaches talk in The Adventure Begins like they did in Thomas and Gordon.

There was probably no point in making a face for City of Truro because it was only going to be used in this episode and didn't have any lines. In the book, he only had one line.
Also, does no one else find it odd that he wasn't referred to by his name in the narration?

In the first scene, Toby's front window is shattered.
When Gordon seems to pass through Wellsworth, he also passes through Henry's Forest four times.
When Gordon says, "It feels as if something is loose," he brushes against a tree.
After Gordon loses his dome, his coaches disappear.
When Gordon goes through The Country Line, half of the embankment moves down and up slightly.
When Gordon goes through Knapford, he is tilted to the right. In the same scene, the coach to the far left is seen with exposed wires around its buffers.
When Thomas asks Duck, "Who's that?" Duck's right wheel is derailed.
When Duck talks to Edward, the latter's whistle is a bit crooked.
When Henry passes Edward and Duck at Wellsworth, his eyes are misaligned.
In the last shot of the episode, Gordon's eyes are misaligned and his buffers are slightly crooked.
Black blu tac can clearly be seen underneath the feet of some people at the start.
In the Swedish version of this episode, Thomas says City of Truro went 100 "mil" per hour, which is the general distance measurement in Sweden, however, 100 mil converts to 621.371192 miles, or 1000 kilometres, a speed that is impossible to reach for a steam engine.
Due to an archive footage Gordon's eyes are wonky when he says "He did it, I'll do! He did it, I'll do it!"
Gordon's buffer are crooked in many scenes.

Which reminds me. When I was a toddler, I watched Thomas and friends (that is ("Thomas the Tank engine and friends"), That's the first time I see trains on TV, then when I watched "all about fast moving trains", I see a Steam engine (WMSR 734) on tv, I realize a real life steam engine is faceless, all of them are faceless. Then when I watched this episode, I see City of Truro that doesn't have a face, I couldn't believe that Thomas characters have met a faceless engine. Never trust Domeless engines, Gordon should mean Never trust Domeless or Faceless Engines, They're not respectable!
Truro never became famous for allegedly reaching 100mph because it was something that wasn't planned. It was never proven, never authenticated so it couldn't be counted officially. When Scotsman did it it was authenticated. It is stated that he was the 1st to be officially timed at 100mph which is a 100% fact.

I think they are supposed to have faces but since all of the shots of city of Truro weren't facing the camera, they didn't bother to make them. As for the season 1 coaches, I think they were intended to have them; but they didn't bother as it wasn't necessery and they were on a tight budget during that season.

That is the first episode to have a famous train came into the series. It could have been Flying Scotsman instead of City of Turo.
So Gordon says he doesn’t boast but he was just boasting about how going 100 mph is easy for him
I think the reason why City Of Truro has no face was because they were going to show him all the way, just the side of the engine to make it look like he’s talking to the engines, hence the reason why he is on the turntable and not in a engine shed

There was a goof that he missed and when Gordon passing the Station is Nowhere to be seen on the wheels scene
Just because the wooden trains don't have stones doesn't mean it's a goof
