It’s a major issue in Missouri City and other “Masterplanned Communities.” All of the neighbors in Sienna Plantation we have talked to said ALL home builders kept giving us shoddy workmanship, and unprofessional behavior for mistakes that these home builders MADE! These home builders need to be able to get sued for their mismanagement.
We bought a perry home years ago. They can not keep a construction manager in a position to long. We went through several. As a registered professional engineer I was able to prove many things wrong but they didn't want to listen. I know exactly how this lady feels. You couldn't gift me a perry home to live in after our horrible experience
If they offered a buy back, why we watching this video? Let them buy the home back! I wouldn't take a risk of passing away thinking I would get a million dollars from Perry homes. I don't like Perry Homes personally, but please take that offer and walk away. Great video. I will post this on Facebook asap
How sad I have one of there homes from 2007 it's built quite well, clearly standards have dropped there. I will say if you build new get an inspection every step in the process and don't sign until any identified items are confirmed as fixed. You give up all your leverage when you sign at the closing table and hope a builder honors there word.
It’s the construction managers fault. Since he doesn’t want to be there and the tight time frame he just covers everything up. It’s not only Perry but almost every cookie cutter house. The contractors knows how to cut corners and the managers should catch all of that.
So wait, the company offered to buy the home back and throw in an extra incentive, and these two minions ignored that? It's obviously not about getting well and getting the transplant as most reasonable people would take the opportunity of getting out of the house quickly and working to get the transplant done. Priorities are all wrong IMHO. Further, how does a couple who appears to have filed chapter 7 bankruptcy in October 2021 afford a half-million dollar home and that shiny Lexus to park in front of the home? I want to understand that one better. I don't think we are getting the absolute truth on this one....as we seem to rarely do any longer with DM. Seems to me this is just another hired smear campaign.
The couple definitely owns a Lexus. The story presented here doesn't seem to mention chapter 7 bankruptcy so where did that information come from? Is your post a smear campaign?

After a bankruptcy, your credit actually tends to go UP, as you are not saddled with debt anymore. While it takes several years for the bankruptcy to fall off the credit report, that means very little in terms of getting new loans, etc., other than a higher interest rate. In fact, you are likely to get inundated with credit offers immediately after final judgement on it.

I got a Perry Homes new build in 2015. They haven’t had the customer in mind ever in our experience. Profits over people, the Perry way!
Something is not right here, there should not be condensation dripping from the vents in a new house with a modern day HVAC system

Perry Homes makes garbage. I can't tell you how much i've fixed and replaced on this home since having it built. What Garbage.
Buy the house back and pay all medical bills plus $65,000 and maybe then sign the NDA.
Sounds like a class action lawsuit in the making. This is probably the rule, not the exception, with Perry. Sue and bankrupt these crooks!
