    Build, fly, eat, sleep. Repeat.
Such is the life of an aeromodeller.

Very nice video with great shots. There is nothing like a Pitts Special. I have flown nearly everything; ultralights, rotorcraft, balloons, lots of experimentals etc. Fly 300+ hours in a Pitts and it will turn you into a fantastic pilot like no other aircraft.

I️ had a similar experience with the sun and moon, except as I️ was looking at the citing device the moon stayed on the siding device as I was rolling vertically, it doesn’t make scientific sense, but it’s what my eyes perceived, this was also in a pitts

Awsome Video! I am also fascinated by aerobatics, and Ive contacted many people in sweden and the us about this, but how much are your annual overall costs with the pitts? Ive heard in the EU it is around 65000€ a year, flying about 50h... is that true? Are there cheap double seater about this frame of a pitts?

About 40 litres / hour fuel, Insurance £800, Hangar £1500, Inspections & Permit renewal £400. Provided nothing breaks or wears out that's about it ....... The trouble is things always do ;-(.
The 2 seat Pitts are roughly double the above (or about £275 / hour to rent or have lessons in) - mainly because they mostly fly on a public transport certificate of airworthiness. The good news is that even 20 minutes is a LONG time flying aeros. Eh Elliot ;-)

Thank you! Yes, thats roughly what Ive heard about it too. Such a crap that all the aviation related inspections, maintenance and insurance are so damn expensive. Especially in Europe. I spoke to Skip Steward a couple of weeks ago and he said that its simply not possible with a well paid job. Do you know if theres any kind of promotion or start up one could get from clubs, owners or sponsors? Have a good one! Sebastian

Best bets to get started on a budget are to begin by saving up for lessons / passenger rides (quite a few owners may be willing to fly you if you just pay for fuel) after that, buy a share - my first pitts was a 1/5 share in G-BPDV - cost £100 / month and £25 / hour plus fuel - but best value ever for the fun I had. Sponsorship is a bit like unicorn poo ..... just let me know if you find some !.
Here's some film of 'dv - still going. nice aeroplane !

Most people end up owning a single seat pitts because lot of the time just fly by themselves anyway.
