Lol you're right I stumbled upon this video a few minutes ago just after I killed him I kill him on every playthrough and I was wondering if this mess with any storyline and apparently it does so I guess I have to revive him thanks for the heads up😅
I was expecting a more in-depth explanation of why, maybe a long running quest, other actions he takes in the future. Just a little upset there was no real content. Just don't kill to romance anothe NPC.

strangely didnt do it, instead the only npc i launch to the brine was Jonas xD the old chief of Halve
