Very nice job on that PA-Lite. That is the same type and color of overhead light that I had on my first sheriff's patrol car - 1973 Dodge Coronet. They worked well and were reliable, until the rubber band started slipping on them. The band could be replaced. Some of us would sprinkle a tiny bit of fine dirt on the pullies, and the grit would stop the slippage. One thing I liked about this rotating beacon lights, is how they would light up the area around the car. Strobes don't do that. The Federal Sign & Signal "Twinsonic" was a great light, which our department bought to replace the PA-Lites. Those things would light up the world with the mirrors. Our Twinsonics had split mirrors, so the reflections went to both the front and rear.
Great Job !!!!!! I rebuilt a Beacon Ray 175-H NYPD light. I'm glad there are many other people that are into restorations. You can't kill those Federal Signal lights.
Gratos recuerdos.
I subbed your channel about 2 weeks ago, I noticed the testors paint on your table. I make these lights in 1/25 scale for all my models. Hop over and have a look, they don't function, but they do look real. I really enjoy your subject matter.

What an amazing restoration! I wish I could find one for my little BMW Isetta Autobahn Police car!

Nice, great job.
Great job!
I only like blue lights on cop cars. No other colored lenses.
