I was driving for Midwest Cost Transport. I had my 1982 GMC Astro 95 and I went to my girlfriend Karen's house. I got to her house which was in a culdesac and I pulled up in front of her house. I got out of my truck and Karen and her family came out and saw me then her mother asked me whose truck that was and I said " It was mine"!!! Karen's mother was in SHOCK!!! she could not believe it was my truck!!! I told her, "Yes it is my truck and I was on my way to my mother's house in Maine and I wanted Karen to go to Maine and meet my mother and sisters. Karen climbed up in the truck and looked inside and told her mother this truck is beautiful!! I asked Karen if she would like to go to Maine and meet my mother & sisters. Karen kissed me and started to cry!!! I told her mother we would be in Maine for a week or two. Karen's mom told me just to be careful and mind my manners!!! I told her, " Don't worry my mother will see to that"!!!! Karen went inside and got some clothes together and I put them and Karen in my truck!!! Karen was AMAZED how well I handled the truck!!!! We got on I-84 East in New York State and we were listening to this song and I decided to open the truck up a little bit!! Karen started to cry because she was so impressed by how I handled a Tractor-Trailer!! We stopped and got something to eat then drove the rest of the way to Maine!!! We got into Maine and drove to my mother's house. My mother came out and was SHOCKED to see me driving a Tractor--Trailer to her house!! I introduced Karen to my mother and my mother LOVED her. My mother then called my sisters and they came over and met my girlfriend Karen!!! They too were SHOCKED to see me driving a Tractor-Trailer!!! We all went out to dinner then Karen and I slept in my truck!!! Karen and I just enjoyed being together and she was crying and holding me because she was SO PROUD meeting my mother and sisters!!! She was also PROUD of how beautiful my truck was and how much I LOVED her!! My mother wanted to take us Roller Skating and enjoy some old times together!!! We got to the Portland Roller Drome and sat down and put our skates on!! We all still had our skates from when we were skating champions!! This song started and my mother told Karen, " You are in for a REAL treat!!! We went on the skate floor and DESTROYED IT"!!! I was crying because it brought back such WONDERFUL memories and my girlfriend Karen was with us!!! We got done and everyone cheered us!!! Karen was crying because she was so AMAZED by the way we skated and the LOVE and INTENSITY we put into our skating!!! Karen told my mother, " Now I can see why Allie is so GOOD on skates"!! When he skates with me he puts on a Pro-Skating show!!! My mother said, " When Allie and his sister Eva would skate together" NO ONE could BEAT them!!! Karen really enjoyed being with my sisters then she said to me, "Your mother and sisters are NOTHING like your father and grandmother"!!! I took Karen home to New Jersey and she told her Family. She LOVED being with me in Maine and my mother and sisters treated her as one of the family!!! She also told her mother, " There is a HUGE difference between the two families"!!!
