This was another great video lecture! The anatomy review with illustrations and guidance were excellent. The coding scenarios really focus on the guidelines and complete forensic review. What is definitely an asset it the review of the correct answers! You review the correct codes and also receive a breakdown of why the other answers are incorrect. Kudos to AMCI for providing this course and keeping certified coders on their game!
Hands down it’s 2022 and this is just been so helpful I am watching all videos then taking my cpc. I have taken aapc course but this hands down the best! I forgot to say thank you so much ladies I wish I could meet you all ❤️
Mrs. Jay, Ms. Rochell and Ms. Tracy provide great practice scenarios, excellent CHUN information and Awsome pictures to help you have a better understand. Does it get any better? Yes try to win AMCI Lecture Series!
All your videos on coding are too useful to us ..actually I was having doubt in nephrectomy ,transplantation and backbench work ..I was I'll confused in dis topic ..but dis video helped me to clear that ...👍👍
Hello, they haven't mentioned do not code 54160 with frenulotomy 54164 in the parenthral guidelines. According to this why can't we code option B as correct answer?? Pls reply!
I have attended cpc exam but I couldn't pass it with 1st attempt please can u guide me in this and also provide radiology, lab and path, medicine sections soon since am waiting to retake the exam. Also please guide me how to complete this exam within 5:40 mins I couldn't do time management. Pls pls pls do help for me it's my request.
I believe there is no need to append the modifier 55 or 56 since the code itself describes the procedure, antepartum only or post Parton care only hope this helps
Modifiers are essential for deliveries because delivery codes are global package surgical codes. These codes include prenatal visits which are surgery codes. If the patient sees two different Drs, that would be two surgery codes used in the global period and one of codes would not be paid without the modifier.

Got another question: I'm at 44:06. Why are we not coding 50327 for backbench work reconstruction when the documentation stated that happened?
I'm also wondering the same...as I am just watching this video now in 2024

Hello, they haven't mentioned do not code 54160 with frenulotomy 54164 in the parenthral guidelines. According to this why can't we code option B as correct answer?? Pls reply!
That is correct.
B, because I learned from you ladies that 50300 has unilateral or bilateral and don’t need modifier 50
It’s included
I have attended cpc exam but I couldn't pass it with 1st attempt please can u guide me in this and also provide radiology, lab and path, medicine sections soon since am waiting to retake the exam. B because 50300 has unilateral or bilateral so no modifier 50
Somewhat confident
thank you i learned a lot:)
No problem
Superbbb ..
when you will add the medicine section?
The Medicine section will take place in two weeks!
Why are mod 55 and 56 added to the vaginal delivery section
there was no operative procedure the patient delivered vaginally, I am confused.
Hi!Thanks for watching. Ms. Tracy has explained this in the video.

HCPCS level 2
thank you mam.........

Wrong code in example it should be 50020 not 50200. Because you could look at the parenthetical note to get the correct answer also.
Please specify the time stamp as I don't see 50200 represented in any of the scenarios.
Okay, I see the clipping was wrong. Thank you Amy.
