She definitely made me tear up. Knowing the story is such a an emotional moment. Remembering how much she scratched and clawed her way to be here. How she didn't wanna be accepted into a company unless it was The name she gave Herself. Rejection all because she was the jack of all trades, not particularly good at one thing. Well to those who doubted her in past. She sure flew to the stars to make sure everyone sees the blinding comet they missed out on.
@@Berstich TBF, the story of rejection because of being a jack of all trades was rejection by irl idol agencies, not Hololive. Pretty sure Vtuber (including initially Hololive) rejection was about keeping the character of Hoshimachi Suisei going.

What makes every Vtuber live feel special is that, you know them in a more personal level than any celebrity. That might sound a bit Para-social, but unlike the traditional celebrity. We literally see their journey from the very start up till now. We see their every step of their journey and because of our support. They're standing there on stage. It really does feel like it's an effort of everyone.

To my knowledge at least, idols are more or less celebrities, they perform on stage, they do the occasional interviews about non-personal stuff and that's about it. But Suisei and other vtubers do live streams throughout the year, and through those streams, we get to know them more on a personal level, and know exactly what hardships they have gone through and what they are like as a person. For idols and celebrities, we only get to see their ups, but for Suisei, we can see both their ups and downs.

Some of those Highschool Idol's first gigs are usually supermarket lives and free promotion for their neighborhoods. In that sense, it's similar to vtubers, since Idols interact on a more personal level towards their community. The celebrity phase happens a little later just after graduation. Then they step into the next part of their lives, where they either get subsumed into an established Idol Company, or go work I to different arts. Or just retire their idol boots and go be a nail. That's where the term graduation came from, afterall

They also have blogs where they post more personal stuff and they also do meet and greets to create a more personal connection with their fans. Honestly idols that stream are just the next evolution of that process and hololive just happened to be ahead of the curve on that.
Just knowing all of the hard work, coming from nothing, to being the only hololive talent to be allowed to transfer over her indie Vtuber model after 2 tough negotiations. Being relatively ignored when in Inunaka music, to growing her hololive brand, surgery on her vocal chords from the hard work , and now her own concert. I shed tears seeing this solo live success. She deserves this and more

I actually shed a tear and nearly cried when she started singing. I was sick at the time, but still turned on the concert and watched the whole thing. Definitely my favourite member, along with ojou of course.
Hololive talents are all amazing but Suisei just feels like she's on another plane of existence. It's hard to describe properly but man, we are blessed to have her.
When she started Stellar Stellar, i remembered the chill i got at her first live. It felt so nostalgic and touching the tears just falls. We got you, Bae.
It's always endearing seeing Bae react to her Holo members (hugs our cute rat). Doesn't matter if it's the holo boys their "great voyage" concert, Holofes 3 with the Myth girls or Suisei's live concert. Bae is always proud off all of them. I love Bae ❤.

This was seriously one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. The energy, surprises, and song choices were all perfect. It’s honestly worth every single penny

It's easy to go with the "Suicopath" memes and whatnot, but fact is, she's an incredible streamer and artist, and deserves all the love and support (as does the rest of Hololive).
Not gonna lie here, Suisei kinda sounds like Lisa, the artist who did the SAO intros. Which SAO is one of my favourite anime's so hearing this made me happy.
