Such a beautiful project, Keren! Those new waxes are quite nummy! I have altered several candy boxes. They are so much fun to alter. I use them as Valentine's Day decor.
First time watching you..but not the last time. I’ve learned so much about how to apply my Art Alchemy waxes by watching this video. I really like that you take your time to explain what you’re doing and your video is going crazy fast. I love mixed media and will be looking at your past and upcoming videos. Sooo glad I stumbled across you.
This is a terrific video as these are the colors I am wanting plus the mint. I was also wondering the difference between gluing with 3d gel and reg gel. Also, if you don't mind telling me, the "older colors" you used at the end, silver and rose gold you said, are they the colors that show one color on black but a different on white? Is there a silver that doesn't require black gesso to show up as silver? Thanks!! Great Video!!
gluing with 3D gel or Heavy gel is usually for heavier larger pieces. I used the soft gel which is the more liquidy out of the 3 for lighter things like paper, beads etc. you can watch the gel videos I have on my channel as it explains that and so much more. you can still glue with the soft gel but things might move as its more liquidy. in terms of the wax colors old silver and rose gold are not the ones changing on black or white. The ones you're referring to are called opal magic waxes. If it doesn't say opal magic on the lid then it doesn't change colors. The old silver does work on other colors than just black. it looks like silver even on white or blue.

Pretty new colours. Great reuse of a candy box.
