Vanquish just dropped their latest off-road crawler - the VS4-10, Fordyce RTR!
The VS4-10 Fordyce is a retro inspired truck with the modern rugged durability that Vanquish Products is known for.
It Features the VFD Spec transmission, F10 Straight Axles, and Fordyce body with bedsides.
Included on the VS4-10 is a full function digital 4-Channel VT-1 Transmitter with multiple model memory and end point adjustment - making the VS4-10 Fordyce ready to be equipped with optional accessories such as a winch / light controller or dig.
Out of the box the VFD Spec comes with 6.5% Overdrive powered by a 35-Turn VM-1 Motor and VE-1 3S ESC.
But wait!
Even with all its bells-and-whistles the 459 dollar price tag is quite steep for this rig and with so many crawlers out there is it worth the four-hundred-plus dollar price tag and is this the right crawler for you?

My favorite feature is the tires. The vanquish wildpeaks are the best RTR tires you can get. With most RTR, tires are one of the first upgrades you must get which can put you back 60-80 for a good set of tires. So, its nice that I don't have to worry about that right out of the box.

The Vanquish Drive train is over all Great.....but The VFD Gearbox is the best on the market for Crawling, the design has been thought thru having the Motor under and low with all metal gears, weather is the VFD or VFD Twin. YES vanquish is more expensive and YES they dont always have stock on the shelf. Vanquish is a Boutique Rc Company with most metal items made in house from solid Billet and CNC, while some plastics ect are made in Taiwan from really strong plastics, better than any other brand. Cheers on the Review i havent seen this model yet from Downunder.🙃

It's not the best transmission for crawling, not even close. Motor sits lower yes but the transmission is actually very high. Compared to say a Dlux transmission it looses left and right.

I like the idea vanquish has yet again put out another bullet proof trail rig an has thought of things such as pan hard mount being metal an bullet proof transmission. But feature I like most is its capabilities right out of box .throw in a battery an can just go.with no modifications.
