Nice Friday shave. My SOTD was the Henson razor with a Wilkinson Sword (2nd use) and Diver Down. I did a bowl lather and used some of the Diver Down as pre-shave. Post-shave was my usual alum block and witch hazel. Proraso aftershave and Nivea cream to finish. Friday is off to a good start. Have a great weekend.

I love my Mission. I did swap the handle though. I have my Mission mounted on the handle of a Merkur 33c, and my 33c is mounted on the handle of a Mission. I think they're are both better razors as a result !!!
Good morning, Gibson Les Paul. :) I tend not to swap out handles and razor heads due to some minor confusion over which is which that might arise. However, If I recall correctly, the Merkur razor head is a bit more distinct than the Mission Razor head, specifically, the base plate.:)

I was looking at the Mission last night and wondering how good it would be at that price, so perfect timing! I like medium-aggression razors (my 34C is the lowest aggression razor I have and it's a bit mild for me) so this one sounds like it's in my sweet spot :-)
I have one Razorock razor so far - the Gamechanger .84P - and it's my favourite. Lots of wet shavers rave about a lot of their other models as well - but the Mission doesn't get a lot of mentions. So a big thumbs up for taking the time to try it.

Hi Mark, nice shave as usual. I also only use coated blades in my Razorock Mission, but I prefer platinum or teflon coated ones. My favorite blades in that rasor are the Tatra Platinum and the Voshkod teflon coated.

Massimo, the razor is quite good for the money. Obviously, YMMV. The scent in Stirling's Barbershop shave soap is really classic!:) When this container is depleted, I'm definitely getting some more.:)

That head looks identical to my R89 head! I love Razorock razors. I have the Gamechanger's in •68 open comb and the •84 closed comb. The lupo •72 closed, Lupo dual comb and a BBS. All great stainless razors. Take care mate and stay safe!

Dave, the razor head does look very similar to the R89 and DE89. I think it may offer just a smidgen more blade feel then either. However, YMMV.

Great shave Mark! I know that you use the Cube as a preshave and that's fine. I use the bloom water as a preshave and notice that you don't. Have you ever considered using bloom water as a preshave or in addition to the Cube? Have a nice day!
Hi, J T. Yes, I've used thebloom water as a pre-sahve in a few videos. I soetimes forget to do this just due to shooting the video and being in a routine as I go through the items. I guess I'm tryign to keep the soap puck as warm as possible so the heat transfers over to when I do my face lathering.:)

Thanks for the info about using an empty toilet paper roll for trying to get my Omega synthetic shaving brush bristles back to their original condition, unfortunately the roll is too big to fit the knot of my brush.
Here is a suggestion for your Monday morning video.....when l do a second or third pass l always have to re-lather my brush because by the time I finish my first pass the lather is cold and I don't like the cold lather on my face and I don't have a shaving scuttle in order to keep my lather and brush warm which is what they do. How can I keep the lather warm so l don't have to run the brush under hot tap water and re-lather after each pass?

Rob, I'm not entirely sure. I haven't purchased anything from them for quite some time. However, if I recall correctly, any item I ordered had a Niagara Falls, NY return address. Again, I may be mis-remembering this. I also found this information on IB's "Shipping & Returns & Refunds" page: "At Italian Barber, ... All returns must be sent back to our location in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Please ask us first for the return address and the details that must be put on the customs invoice (if you are returning product from a country outside Canada)."
