Oh wow, did not know that was from an XT350. Excellent Frankensteining skills and it looks great. Did you happen to use plastic adhesion promoter before the actual paint?
@@vaultexplorers1337 I'm no auto body guy. And I didn't learn anything until just recently and it was from You Tube tutorials. Some dude went step by step how to paint plastics. I used that knowledge to try and refurb a 1970 ct90's plastics. Came out nice enough. I've no idea how well adhesion promoter works, buts ill surely find out as I did that technique on my new Alpinestars Body armor I painted lovely desert tan 😍
Now there’s a good question. The last two times I tried to measure mpg I ended up taking the tank off to work on it. I will post my findings ASAP though.
I have a Clarke XT 350 tank for my TW. I went with the translucent one or natural. I plan on installing it soon. Thanks for the information.
Translucent is definitely the way to go!! Good luck with the install!!
No seat modifications needed for the Clarke 2.8 gallon TW tank. Super easy install.
Yes. A tank that is bigger and was not made specifically for the TW would require the seat to be modified.

Thanks! And no 😒, I rushed the job…twice and paid the price. The next paint job will be done right.
