Rather sturdy build, there are easier and cheaper ways to stretch fabrik for use as a projection screen. I use an IKEA window blind that has all the screen realestate i need. It rols-up with a spring inside the wooden bar. Take no space and the reflection is stunning. I think i paid less than 20 Euros. It has enough length to project 4:3 video with a width of 200 cm.
Si usaste cable ties, simplemente desmonta la pantalla y vuelve a apretar. Yo use resortes en lugar de cable ties y estos funcionan mejor ajustandose a la temperatura ambiental
@@jdfloresd The reason you wrinkle is because there is no further tension. Stretching when heated is a physical property of all materials. If you pull it tightly enough, it will only relax even when heated, and will not wrinkle. The advantage of using a tie is that if it wrinkles, you tighten it further. So as long as the temperature does not increase, it will remain flat forever.

Good job!
Where can I get the fiberglass rod?
Pro suggestions - thank you 💖
holy shit that looks amazing. wish i had enough skill to make it work
use canvas stretcher bars won’t need to do much other than stretching the screen on them 😅
How do you get dents out of this material?

It looks neat but so many steps & extra elements. Why not just staple it all directly to frame?

Another ideal to make this even better is to use springs instead of cable ties, springs will keep the tension even with changes in room temperature!
You can use a spring, but you need to use a spring with a strong force, which requires a lot of effort when installing, and you will be very painful
