    Sam, I'm brand new to your channel and I'm OBSCESSED! I love your gentle, gentling. The way that you explain techniques is so much easier for me to grasp and understand. Thank you for being an incredibly brilliant trainer who is willing to share it with the rest of us. I'm learning SO MUCH from you! I cannot wait to adopt my mustang in the coming weeks. You have given me so many useful tools and commands already! I'm looking forward to viewing more of your training videos!

    Wow, you are able to proceed so quickly with your steps with each new mustang, Sam. Very impressive - it’s like watching a Master’s Class of Mustang Training. You are amazingly talented and very kind and empathetic. I hope all people who want to train wild horses find your videos. Thanks for taking us along.

    I love to see the repetition. Every time you approach him (hand, stick, rope...), there's a change in his response, even if it's tiny. I like to see the whole process, so you are not boring us. We can always skip ahead if we choose. My only recommendation would be to acquire recording equipment with a wide range. Keep up the great work!

    I don't get bored watching the repetition. It's valuable to know how much time you spend working on different steps with each individual horses. I'm sure there's alot of undocumented time too. I appreciate your videos ❣️🌿🐎

    He’s making great progress! He really doesn’t seem to spooky at all to things touching his legs or his hips!

    Lovely to see how fast he's learning. Whenever I hear him snort I think he should be called Mister Trumpet. But I'm sure you'll come up with a perfect name that fits his cute, loveable character.

    Love it. I watch this and get excited to have my own horse someday. I learn a lot about their inner working and I like how you can predict behaviour based in your experiences.

    I showed my mom his pick up video and now we're both invested in his journey! He's such a cute gelding. 😊 When are you going to do a name reveal for him? We call him Charlie but excited to see the name you choose!

    I thought he handled the saddle blanket really well. During that you were on both sides and he seemed to be much more relaxed. This little dude is starting to see you.

    I was so happy to hear that he is breathing 🤣jk. Loving all of the step-by-step and repetition. If people don't like the repetition, tell them where to skip forward to. Looking forward to the next one.

    You're making great progress. Getting his mane braided must have taken quite a bit of time. He would make a stunning driving horse.

    Is he too young to be ridden? Have you figured out how old he is? Do you know how tall (hands) he will be when he’s full grown? I’ve completely fallen in love with him ❤️

  • @Kattleyah

    Little Mr Snort 😂 Love it. Does it only look like it in the video or does he have a much higher behind (as in, he is still growing?)?

    You should name him cat if he doesn't have a name yet. He sounds like he's purring with that snort :)

  • @Bodiy

    Do you know what happened to his tail I don’t know anything about mustangs but assuming that he has been on the range I would have thought he would have a long tail

    • @april5666
      @april5666 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that they chew on each other’s tails when they are in captivity. If you’ve seen any groupings at BLM areas there’s water and hay and horses, so nothing else to distract themselves with, so they pull on each other’s tails. I’ve seen a lot of them with these tiny tails, especially in the younger horse groupings. They grow back eventually.

    • @Bodiy
      @Bodiy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you that’s to bad because it takes years for a tail to grow the short tail has nothing to do with his training but they are just pretty I did see one program where the mustangs are all in a pin and the fear in their eyes was heartbreaking it’s good that people like Sam take them

    It's shocking to me that you can train a wild horse twice a day and post a daily video and most people who watch it can't even make the effort to click the like button. There is vast difference between those of us who make content and those who consume it. I see this lack of appreciation across TH-cam.
