Remote serious bomb is actually a perfect counter for this kind of build. Given it completely takes you out of any awakened state like super saiyan and the like with the debuff it puts on you. It also prevents you from actually transforming for ages after as well which is craziness

The only thing I think you could've done wrong is just the fact that there are 3 properties in effect which another thing is that if there is ANY new effect or modifier on your character while the glitch is active then it ends instantly so things like poison or slowness or even being cured of them cause the glitch to end
