Tarkov is the only FPS I’ve played consistently the past 7 years. So it was a no brainer for me. I play every day. So it’ll be 100x easier for me to stockpile guns and armor so I can go crazy on weekends.
They did a great job i think its great value
Depending on the gun the hideout can store quite a few on the weapon rack, I'm chillin without it
It's funny to me that half the people who were angry about this are now saying how cool it is to have more stash space, I was never upset at any point because i knew it would turn out like this. it always does.
I dont think stash space is pay to win in any ways sure you can hoard more early wipe but not much most people will have 2x2 containers anyways so they cant reliably take all the valuables

I just started playing again this wipe. I personally love this. I dont usually have the time to grind those even quests that unlock space so I easily benefited from the 10 rows I got. Worth it to me but not for everyone

I would have bought the extra lines if a dollar a line or something like that. But not at its current price. Mid wipe I have all my cases and setting cozy. It would help early wipe but that is also the fun part of managing the stash.
8k hours on my account since launch I’ve gotten an insane amount of value out of eft. Will happily buy the expansions!
I've never had issue with stash space as I would sell gears that I am too afraid to lose and use bag stacking for extra slots if I needed. But I understand there are hoarders even within the group I play with that will appreciate this.

I get the whole if you want to support the devs thing, but BSG dropped the ball.
-Tried making Arena before EFT is even finished.
-they let scope creep affect EFT, the game is 8 years in development with no end in sight.
-Not to mention BSG has made EFT around cheaters.
-Made explicit promises for no micro transactions but Arena flopped and here we are.
yes they took a gamble and lost, this is how to recoup from losing, so they need money to keep the game and development going, and arena wasn’t free to make

$44 is like buying the game again. I mean I need the space since Im on an original standard alpha account but seriously its basically like a new version of the game again. This more of an attempt to kill that secondary market of different game editions. I like the idea, but maybe $2 dollars for 2 lines would have been more reasonable.

As someone who has a Severely Intrusive Hoarding problem in EVERY SINGLE GAME i own that has ANY resemblence of a "Storage System". i alone make the first 3 to 5 episodes of TLC's Hoarders look like a joke, i can confirm with Wholehearted honesty that: *i bought every bit of space i could! ....but this didn't help me for long at all*
If they sell only shortcuts to things that don't give an unfair advantage to people but that are still unlockable in game and that the grind is doable i dont have a problem with it. but it is very expensive for what it is.

@@FakeDeath_Everything is not black and white. Stash space has no impact on the gameplay of others, if you think this is an unfair advantage so is the max stash space that you have with EOD. They dont want to sell skins or bs like that but they obviously need money for the long run. So if the compromise has no concequence to my experience i dont care. Selling rubles or in game items is on another level and it would be unacceptable but they dont seem willing to go that way.

Point is it's pay to win when you sell advantage. Money = better gear = better gun = better everything = in game advantage for money = pay to win. @@FamussAmuss

I think it’s a pretty good deal especially if you have EOD you’re gonna just have a massive stash permanently and And now you don’t have to mess with building stash level four is certainly gonna make Earley wipe very easy

personally for someone thats always short on stash space even with eod and 4 thicc cases this wipe. and with the amount of hours i have in the game i think its worth it. i have less than 1 euro spend per hour of played time. Which i think is still very good value for what i paid for.
Thats how i measure whether if I spent my money well on games. I try go for £1 per hour minimum on tarkov im below that so money well spent
@@sameeramir9411 Thats quite a weird measurement. EFT alone cost around £130 and you get everything included, there are no microtransactions. I dont knwo what game where you can have a £1 per hour experince

Stash space in this game is golden
Once you start getting cases there's no need for extra stash space in Tarkov and never has been, I've been using standard account since 2017. Gamma is the only thing worth it for purchasing space, if they ever allow it.
It's great early wipe and really eliminates the need to rush for scav box
Btw, docs case is a cheap way to store money if you don't want to deal with wallets.

It has more spaces than the wallet, but still only holds like 8 million or so, I had to grab a second one since I don't have the money case unlocked yet

Buying the stash space is stupid, and is helping set the precedent for the game to somehow manage to be even worse when it gets absolutelyinfested with more mtx trash.
They promised there would never be mtx, we should be telling them to remove this trash and not buying under any fucking circumstances.

If you play a lot and like bsg and have enough money you can get it if not don't, but the buyable stash doesn't affect anyone so there's no harm in it
Bsg needs to make money somehow. I just wish they mad cooler skins and did that kinda micro transaction instead. It would suck but at least they’d be making money and would be able to lean off the hackers for money a little more than they do now
I don’t mind stash lines bc it’s not really p2w in combat, but I feel like BSG is eliminating more and more risk from PMC which is what makes the game what it is
You can already get containers and beef up storage. Some of them are obviously extremely late items, but acting like this is going to affect anything is crazy. My edition already has extra space to begin with. All this does is allow me to stop wasting so much time playing tetris and figuring out how to cram everything in. This massive inventory size is pointless late game.

Docs case can be used as small money case, holds way more money than a wallet the double slot is very worth for the amount of stacks it can hold

Storage space wise, the amount of slots you get vs the 1 slot wallet only giving you 4 slots. It gives you 16 slots that take up 2, vs 2 wallets only giving you 8 slots. It's worth it for inventory management not because it costs x amount of rubles.

Question is, say you buy the extra stash lines, what do you get when you do the pre-wipe event and complete the quest that gives more stash lines for free?
If they are ment to be the lines you can buy, what do those who bought them all get? More lines as advertised? or something else? no answers for now i guess we shall find out.
It was a 1 time event like a year ago, if you compelted it then you cant buy 20 stash lines but 18. If you didnt completed it you buy 20 stash lines, if they happen to do an event again(which i doubt) that adds another 2 stash lines it doesnt matter if tou bought the 20 or didnt buy any, you finish the quest and get the stash lines. What needs to be answered?
To be honest they need to rework the standard edition stash upgrades, you can upgrade to level 2 as soon as you have 3mil but to get to level 3 you HAVE to be at least level 30 for Mech LL3, idk how I feel about the purchasable stash

for me eod stash is big enough, im kind of a hoarder so it forces me to use some guns that i other wise would keep for "later"

Nikita shows us that he doesn't believe in pay to win, but rather, if you have the money, you can buy an upgrade. If you don't, you can grind for it.
I see it as a way to counter the actual cheater based economy. If tarkov had a jar tip I would give. Well the the jar tip just came out ;)

the extra stash space is a paid expansion, and EOD users were supposed to get all expansions for free.

the extra stash space is so the game can stay alive without cheaters rebuying accounts, if you really like the game and have cash to spare get some extra space if you’d like, if you don’t, then don’t it’s really not a big deal, not like you can buy guns or gear
I've always wanted them to add the gamma container as a separate purchase. As a standard edition Chad, I'd spend 60$ on gamma.

I bought it even with EOD strictly to support BSG i didnt NEED it. As long as they dont over reach with micro's this kind of micro is fine.
As far as cosmetics, id rather them do just SOME for pmc but leave most unlocked in game. However, it would be dope if they let you drip out your scav.

as someone who owns eod and will not be buying stash space because i don't need it, I agree. stash space doesn't change the dynamic of the game. they could have unlimited storage and it wont change anything for me. also a bet a few streamers/people would buy 500 or 1000 lines of storage just for shits and giggles

Ive been a standard user since 2021, going for epsilon along with Kappa is so rewarding and I've never once had an issue with stash space. Junk box, items case is all u need early. Username UrGirlsBestFren

So your rationale of not buying it is because 1) it’s too expensive & 2) they’re giving a free path to get it.
1) - is subjective and if I buy this maybe bsg can fight cheaters harder
2) - im casual as heck, never even did part 1 of the 19 part quest chain that yielded just two rows of stash space. Ain’t no way I’ll ever earn these rows in game.
Its nice to get all these Line for Quests ingame, but only für No-Lifer. The Grind is insane...
