I’m 24 years on housing list, renting in Dublin, empty house next door is empty 4 years and got giving to refugees before Xmas who is country 12 wks, but dcc told me when my rental lease is up more than likely will have to go homeless because of housing crisis even tho I’m list 24 years, it’s wrong people been put before our own and our own Irish homeless left on streets . If Ukraine has a policy of all Ukrainian men under 60 years of age must stay in to fight for their country then it's not unreasonable for Irish citizens to ask where are these 'asylum seekers' really coming from

Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Albania, Algeria, Morocco, Pakistan, Nigeria, all north and eastern African countries… these are the countries they’re coming from. 200,000 asylum seekers came to ireland in 2022 and of the 200,000 only 60,000 were actually Ukrainian. These men (who are a majority of Muslim men) just come and take advantage of the system here.
They can leave Ukraine if they are ill, have a disability, caring for a person with a disability, or if they are having more than 3 children.
They’re not coming from Ukraine anymore. They are mostly men from North Africa and the Middle East taking advantage and taking places of Ukrainian women and children that might really need it.
Most of the people staying in the free accommodation are asylum seekers from African and Arabic countries (and the majority of them are muslim men!). So once you start giving asylum to muslims- especially radical muslims (like the man Yousef Palani who beheaded two irishmen in Sligo recently) always remember: "the loyalty of a muslim lies with his faith and not with the land he resides".
In a nutshell
I look every day about these matters. This is the first ive heard about these beheadings. Multicultural flaw, child grooming, child brides, beheadings is all part and parcel of their culture. This multicultural society we've had rammed down our throats is not so attractive after all is it?

Why would she say 500 people have been refused asylum when she knows that makes no difference. Only 20% of people refused asylum leave Ireland, the other 80% remain and there is no policy to remove them. That's why they want to give an amnesty to 17000 people who have been refused, because they are still here. What utter contempt she has for the people of Ireland to talk to us on a national broadcaster like that, and then mention the war in Ukraine as if all the people coming here were from Ukraine. And before anyone assumes otherwise, I have no problem with Ukraine refugees coming here.

We have to make the distinction between those genuinely fleeing a war and those who are chancers coming to Ireland because it is a soft touch. The phrase “All refugees are welcome” needs to be called out as hugely offensive. It may not be offensive to some, but it is to others. Let me explain. Chanting “up the Ra” could pass as harmless sing song to some, but there are people out there who buried their loved ones, and for reasons of decency and respect- you just don’t say it. Now imagine you are one of the many people in Ireland who has buried someone as a result of a violent refugee- and now there are people out there chanting “ALL refugees are welcome” and insisting we take in more of the same.
If this phrase upsets the people on this island who have suffered the most as a result- (just like UP THE RA) - it should not be uttered.

I dare say the Ukrainians will want to return home after hostilities have ended, but as for the Africa/Asian influx I`m not so sure they will want to leave Ireland or the UK.
