Thann you sir van you please make a video in which you explain how we can determine theta and phi to plot the elevation and horizontal plane and the gain
@@ouafaeelalaouy8562 The last adaptive option allows us to plot a quantity (eg: VSWR, reflection coefficient, 2D gain) at a single frequency ( theoretical resonance frequency, 38GHz for this tutorial). The Sweep option on the other hand allows us to visualize a given parameter (eg: reflection coefficient) for all points within the range as defined in the frequency setup (This tutorial: 30GHz-45GHz).
The dimensions were calculated using rectangular microstrip Antenna formulae from C. Balanis book. However these formulas can’t give you the desired resonance frequencies. So you need to optimize the dimensions on HFSS using the optometric option.
Hello, this paper may help you to find the dimensions of the feedline. www.researchgate.net/publication/305722465_A_New_Design_Formulae_for_Feed_Line_Dimensions_of_the_Rectangular_Microstrip_Patch_Antenna_by_using_Equivalent_Design_Concept You can know impedance matching by looking at the Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) or the reflection coefficients. For instance, in mobile communications systems, if the VSWR is less than 2, there is impedance matching.
Study of different types of microstrip discontinuities like bend, t, via, gap etc., and find/measure its insertion loss. Is this possible to design in hfss software sir. Can you help me to solve this problem sir.
Hi! You can design a microstrip antenna. You can check out this article for more details. www.researchgate.net/publication/365019471_A_miniaturized_dual-band_planar_antenna_with_a_square_ring_defected_ground_structure_for_5G_millimetre-wave_applications
Thank you! You can find how to calculate the dimensions in the literature. I recommend that you read Balanis "Antenna Theory: Analysis and Design" forth edition. However, you will need to perform a parametric analysis to achieve the desired resonant frequency. You can also read this article for a circle Microstrip antenna. www.researchgate.net/publication/365019471_A_miniaturized_dual-band_planar_antenna_with_a_square_ring_defected_ground_structure_for_5G_millimetre-wave_applications
Sir..y am I not getting the exact value for length of the patch even after calculation
Prof. Please share the link of research paper asap.
Thanks Professor diallo
Thank you for the supports

Sir please make a video on rectangular array antenna
sir how to calculate length and width of the feedline and how i know impedance is matching

Hi, Can u provide the table of actual data of dimension, since you are saying that the dimensions have been optimized for proper resonance?
Hello sir..i am doing this project using 22 version ...can it be done
Hi. It should work.
Hey I am using hfss13.0 and I am unable to find the create open region option ,
If you cqnnot find it, you can create a radiation box manually by considering a distance of lamda/2 on both sides of the antenna
Can you make same thing on iE3D software plz

Hii sir...can do a designing video for 15ghz microstrip patch antenna
Of course I can. Could you please specify what applications is at 15GHz ?
Its stating boundary and excitation error
Hello what version of HFSS are you utilizing please ? Make sure you follow the process. Can you send the screenshot of the error message.
Hello , i'm having a porblem with the port and i cant seleckt lumped port like you another page opens what should i do ?
Hey, you should change the solution type into terminal
I am getting error regarding lumped port
Can you kindly give more details on the type of error it is giving you?
Problem solved thank you for responding
Sir..any array antenna video available
Hi, I will upload it soon.
Sir..can it be built for circular microstrip patch antenna...if can.. could u pls send the values
Hi!
You can design a microstrip antenna. You can check out this article for more details. www.researchgate.net/publication/365019471_A_miniaturized_dual-band_planar_antenna_with_a_square_ring_defected_ground_structure_for_5G_millimetre-wave_applications
How did u decide the patch position in the x axis as 0.8
The position of the patch doesn't matter that much. I just wanted to make something feasible. you can use another value.
How to calculate values (means the values you shown at start),give clear information
Thank you!
