Think the bike is a real riders bike and the 2 top colours are gorgeous. From a 67 year old. It would certainly do anything I needed but really can't justify a 4th bike in the garage. Get well soon Kate.
I truly feel for you kate, I do hope a lasting permanent solution can be found to help you kate. Hopefully you and the gang will be having many more travel adventures in no time.
Do we need to review Mikes review? I enjoyed the fact that he rides like me, muttering to himself and having a laugh. I'm also glad that I'm not the only one looking to see what a bike can do on the first ride - power and brakes, gaps I can squeeze through and so on. I like the look of the bike, but doubt that its for me. I do really appreciate that RE make these bikes that a little less power, a little less weight and a lot less money though.
I think that’s a nice looking bike and the colours of that one look almost retro if that’s makes sense. I’ll probably get slammed for saying this but kinda similar to a 80s GS1000 a friend used to have. Mike saying Zoomies, made one of my dogs start paying attention which was quite funny too. Take care and atb, Dave
Awesome video! Mike did great. I could watch him all day though I do miss you. Umm I think this bike is very approachable . Get on it and ride. My GS is more of a chore so to speak. I have been thinking of adding a RE to commute to work. And it sounds so good. Great job. I hope you are better. Best!
Ah, but are the accessories available Kate? Those of us that bought a Super Meteor 650 are STILL waiting for touring bars, extended cables and let's not talk about my panniers and what happened 🤦 Great review as always ty 🎉
Looks like a nice sized bike. Still bigger than most bikes from the 60's. Now, if one made the simplest, lightest bike possible with kick start as electric start back up and again and air cooled!
These, along with the Triumph 400''s are going to be so important to motorcycling in general. Priced right, easy to ride and great looking. If any bikes are going to increase the numbers of riders these will. Get well soon Miss Kate, Mike will steal your channel if you're not careful 😊
Hope you're feeling better soon Kate. I like the idea of this bike. I'd probably go for a hard top-box rather than those soft panniers (which look to be mounted very wide), a screen, MX handguards and conventional mirrors. Some of the colours are okay (matter of individual taste, of course), but what I'd really like to see is an all-over matt/satin black option, and a cammo option. I mean, it IS called a guerrilla... Would I actually buy it? Hmm... I'd be more inclined to go for a Himalaya to be honest, but I'd like to take both for a test ride.
I think mikes comment about the interceptor engine in a himalayan is bang on. Id be on that like a tramp on a chip. Brilliant idea! Get on to them kate!
With a big single you have to be in the right gear all the time. The Gorilla, not in that horrible paint scheme, was on my radar when I was changing my GoldStar but i decided I'd go for a twin and bought the Kawasaki Eliminator instead.
Hey Mike, no criticisms at all, nice job. As for the aesthetics of the bike, I hate the colors, but that’s OK because somebody else will love it and choice is good. Nice work Royal Enfield… a seemingly good, functional and affordable motorcycle
Hi Kate, Sorry to hear your poorly again, hope you have a speedy recovery 🌺,Thought Mike done a great job on the riders opinion of the 450,and a bit of humour (Look after them testicles)I agree that it probably shakes a bit but in eco Mike reckons it’s much better. He’s used to torquey motors😂,but for a 450 it’s a hell of a lot of bike,.The blue colour will probably attract a younger age group possibly, but it seemed a capable bike.🌺🙏🇸🇪
I hope that Mike is ok, as he certainly sounded like he had damaged his nuts at one time 😅. Overall though, a really enjoyable vlog you two 👍. Just one thing, I've been up to Devils Bridge at kirkby Lonsdale today and, there was a guy on an identical bike (apart from the side bags), the only thing he wasn't keen on was the 'toggle' switch for the dashboard, it was really close to the indicator and horn buttons, apart from that he was really pleased with it, oh yeah, his wife suggested he got the blue and white one 😂🏍.
Looks as though you've got an optional seat. I have the standard seat and am of similar dimensions (apart from a more generous waist) and I find it very comfortable. The engine is most happy above 3000rpm but can be revved to peak power at 8000rpm. The balance shafts make high revs comfortable imho.
I have the 350 Meteor, with a custom fettled Touring seat by Tom Hurley. it’s lowered😊 I sat on these new 450. With shape of the seat, basically i was on my very tip,of tip toes. Don’t help, being 5foot 4 with a short 27 inch inside leg. So would require a lowered link, or a Mr Hurley to take a scoop out of the seat for me. The playa black be my choice as the other colours, bar the base model are *ucked up. On your test model, half measures with not having the rear rim blue, same as front!!! Also think the Royal Enfield on the tank should be blue too. Just my personal thoughts. Am hearing good vibes re the bike. Haven’t noticed if there is a low seat, so I could then take out for test ride. Not noticed if this is available as yet.😊 Nice review of a bike I think is gonna be. Big seller. Strange enough, the Triumph 400 seat height is 10mm higher. But to me, felt exactly the same. 😊
OK What does Pork mean? I've heard Torque and Poke to describe power of engines, but never Pork, must be an "up north" saying 😅 Well done Mike for stepping in good review
Great little bike but bit small for me and the tank size is a bit small (but apparently good mpg so you prob get a good 200 miles + o _). P.s Would I like the engine in my 411 of course but am ok for a bit.
Testicle comfort is not usually something that comes up in a Usernamekate video, but it's important consumer advice nonetheless. 👍
royal enfield are a remarkable company they keep bringing out these bikes at amazing prices and aimed at differant segments of the market

TMF gave you a nice shoutout today.
Good to see you on a bike again Kate hope you feel better now.👍

"Kate rides like a normal person..." ... well that explains it!!! 😆
So usernamemike rides again, cracking vlog, nice looking bike, 👍🏍
I love the blue and white scheme, each to their own. Reminds me somewhat of the old Yam RD350 LC .

Thank you both for that one, informative and amusing as always 😂👍

Looks excellent great value and good balance of tec 😊

Great job Mike 🫡
Gorgeous motorbike in that spec.

Do enjoy your review have just brought one down here in new Zealand the blue one get it next week
Cheers 👍🏻
THE ENDING 😂
That's the best colour scheme by a country mile! The yellow and purple monstrosity has no place in TH-cam vids!

Did you like the GoldStar?
I wasn't going to watch this without you but I'll give it a girl😂

You're right, someone will. I love that paint job, it reminds me of the old Yamaha two strokes.

Mike is doing a fantastic job subbing in👍👍. Would love to see you guys do some comparison vids together.

Good looking bike, top review, diamond gesser,
Ohh forgot about Katie, get well soon 😅
Just stick that 450 engine in the Classic 350 frame! …make a fab bike…just that little bit extra when needed 👍
I hope that Mike is ok, as he certainly sounded like he had damaged his nuts at one time 😅. Overall though, a really enjoyable vlog you two 👍. You did great Mike
Get well soon
😅 nice to see one being ridden spiritedly on UK roads.
The old “it’s cold” 😂
Mike sure did a great job.😂

So what bike does Mike ride? Any bike that brings new blood into our passion/hobby has got to be good for the future of motorcycles.
Mike I bet that idle is high either for break-in or it will stall out due to a lean fuel mixture
OK What does Pork mean? I've heard Torque and Poke to describe power of engines, but never Pork, must be an "up north" saying 😅
Well done Mike for stepping in good review
Scout rd and Belmont rd, great route.
In my opinion it’s a good looking bike not clunky like other of their bikes. It almost sounds like a four stroke that operates like a two stroke.
Be honest its just not your type of bike is it ?
Start waving your arms about a bit Mike so it all feels a bit more familiar :)
Great little bike but bit small for me and the tank size is a bit small (but apparently good mpg so you prob get a good 200 miles + o _).
P.s Would I like the engine in my 411 of course but am ok for a bit.
At a quick glance, it looks like an RD350 lc.
Looks like Mike had fun
I like the bike but I’d have put the bigger engine in it
It looks more like a dualsport to me not a roadster way to high
Don’t like the look of…feel like they made the tank look weird just to say it’s not a retro rather have a triumph 400
