Hirana Kabir Bhajan is a type of devotional song or bhajan that is popular in the North of India. The term "Hirana" refers to a type of deer found in the region, while "Kabir" is the name of a famous Indian saint and poet who lived in the 15th century.
The Deer symbolises our 5 senses and the poet explains that in the pleasure-seeking tendency is at the mercy of the five sensual stimuli (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch) that are the hunters. He warns that one should stay out of their line of attack/vision.
