+pinkie24 you have to be in shape, and skinny , so you can lift your own body weight. like anything else it gets easier the more you do it. fyi Im female
I've always been interested in pole dancing and I'm 16 now but I don't want people to think I'm a slut for wanting to take a class. I see it as a art form, not as a thing for strippers only. Should I do it?
Caitlyn Campbell It can be for strippers AND an art form. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. Don't care what people think. If someone judges you for exercising, then why the fuck should their opinion matter.
Caitlyn Campbell Im 15 and im taking pole dancing, some people will be shocked but its whatver, as long as youre happy :). It is more of an art form, more of a dance than something sexual. I say go for it! I was nervous about starting too, but now i LOVE it!
+Caitlyn Campbell -- I'm 35 and I wish I'd tried it sooner. Just remember, someone famous once said you'll regret more the things you DON'T do that you wanted to, than the things you did that sounded crazy. :)
My aunt is a professional pole dancer and I'm 14 and I'm very interested to pole dance not for being a 'stripper' but I heard when you pole dance you feel alive but my parents won't let me
+Lena Marie Find something your parents will let you do that makes you feel alive in the meantime, and then when you're an adult and don't have to abide by your parents' rules, go take a pole class.
+Lena Marie What Jen said! Certainly going to ballet, jazz and modern classes will both make you feel alive and condition your body ready for the strenuous pole moves Xx
You do it all so elegantly! I'm thirteen but I'm really passionate about dancing and mom said as soon as I move out I can get lessons so I'm already working on my strength and flexibility so I hope I can begin with not only some basic physical requirements but also a little knowledge of what I'm setting myself up for!
I'm fourteen. Been doing this for 2 years now! I pole dance at the public park (but not sexually of course). Parents used to despise me, but after I got a bit better parents saw it as more of an art than a stripper dance. Just start on poles at a play ground near home. (Structure poles, tether ball poles, etc. They're everywhere) , but please be careful. When you go bring a friend in case of injury. Good luck!
crissy4445 same here! i'm 15 years old and i'm thinking about starting poledance, but i don't want to ask my parents or friends opinion because i already know that they will laugh.. .____. but whatever, if i want to do poledance i will, and i also want to show them that dancing with a pole must not be stripping! also its very calming to see others in my age whose want to start poledance! are you practising it nowadays?
The idea of dancing on any kind of pole I think kind of intimidates people. But if you just look at the way she moves on it it's so graceful and beautiful! I'm only 19 but I kinda want to try it out. It looks like a lot of fun and I'm sure it's something that can give you confidence in yourself.
Of all the beginner videos I have watched this is my FAVORITE because she doesn't just name it and show it, she's actually taking the time to EXPLAIN what to do! I wish she made more videos!
This is the kind of video I needed! With tutorials showing the same move over and over let's me see what I my moves should look like but i know i needed a break down of how each body part should be placed. Thank you thank you!!
LMFAO I remember watching this video in like the 4th grade and saying “hey, I want to do this” so I practiced at my elementary school playground during recess and my friends and I would try to do the moves😂😂
I have been taking pole fitness lessons at a local Dance studio, and it's a lot harder than it looks. I bought a pole so I could keep at it during the weekends. such a great work out.
I recently started taking Pole dance in my free time, doing pole technique, and it’s a lot harder than it looks, i gained a new found respect for those who do it profesionelly.
I took dancing lessons 2 years ago, now started with a pole myself but you're explaining is more clearly then denise mulder's. Thanks for sharing, practicing at home is now easier.
I like how people talking about the bruises or age restriction on here when people think it’s just fun and games. Pole fitness isn’t as easy as it looks, it takes a lot of dedication. Age doesn’t matter but don’t think it’s a cake walk either. I wish this wonderful woman had a TH-cam channel though and they linked it on here or informed she doesn’t have one. 😭💕
My friend has a pile and I tried it yesterday, and I had no idea what I was doing but apparently I did good things bc now her mom wants to be my personal pole coach
Probably because we feel comfortable admitting our interest in a sport we love where we're usually shot down for being slutty? Why did you feel the need to take a jab at kids in TH-cam comments?
Are you new around here? lol since the dawn of TH-cam that has always been a common occurrence. “I’m 12 and I love this song that’s way older than me” is one we all know
I'm 11 and I'm trying to pole dance really good !! 😊 I have seen really good little pole dancers and I would like to try I'm trying really hard to get it , and I'm getting better . I would like to come down so you would teach me some fr
trust me it might looks easy but pole dancing has been the hardest workout of my life. you can also see the bruises on her leg.. but the best thing about it is that you get results so fast! I'm just a beginner now but I wanna be a pro!
Question In order to spin on a pole do you have to buy a spinning pole? I can sit on the pole but i cant spin while sitting on it. what am i doing wrong?
I really want to try pole dancing, not just because it looks fun, but also because a character in one of the books I'm writing is an exotic dancer. Hopefully I can find more videos like these to help lol
Black_Blossom We just had a 67th birthday party for a gal and her 15 friends who were a bit older. Some on walkers. Some needed chairs. Whatever. They had a blast. All beginner moves presented with CHOICES and OPTIONS so they could try at their own pace. They all enjoyed learning something new and had a chance to be a little sassy.
I recently broke my toe and two weeks later something in my soul is telling me to take on pole dancing classes. I never had the idea before. I cant wait until im fully healed I HAVE to take a class 😭
Ive always wanted to learn pole dancing... and Ive started watching lots of vids lately and from my understanding..you need to workout and build your strength/flexibility aside from just learning tricks.... I went ahead and bought a pole yesterday... havent set it up yet but I noticed its one that just stands still ..not one that rotates... can you do pretty much any trick on a standing still pole or do some tricks HAVE to be done with a spinning pole?
How old do you have to be to pole dance? I'm 13 and it looks really fun and cool. I've always been interested by it. Not sure how my parents would react.
Ive been doing jazz, modern, and tap for almost 10 years, and I quit ballet a year ago. I kinda want to try this, but I'm terrified to bring it up to my parents... So yay...
Sheesh, everyone. You wanna be a stripper, be one. Wanna be a pole dancer, be one. Who cares, honestly. I want to take pole dancing classes so I can think of myself as sexy (when I'm trying to be).
Pole dancing isn't just for strippers. It's an exercise. It's for everyone.
I know right :D

BUT its to inapropiate for little children And IM ONLY 8 YEARS OLD
omgosh this is harder than it looks!!!!!!! she makes it so easy
+pinkie24 you have to be in shape, and skinny , so you can lift your own body weight. like anything else it gets easier the more you do it.
fyi Im female
Ive seen 250+ women work the pole like pros. You dont have to be skinny at all just strong. Not all skinny people have strength.
Angela Cooper yes, but how many? its not common by any stretch of the imagination.
***** too many to count. im skinny and cant pick up a wet piece of paper
Angela Cooper sorry, I dont believe that you see very heavy women doing pole dancing a lot, js.
I just wanna do it because it requires lots of physical strength
We all know this is probably a lie
Me too, do they allow guys in these classes?
@@dorian8797 ?
Same
I just want to do it bc in school we have a pole outside and me and a guy compete so i wanna beat him 😑😊

Destynie Zuhra where do you take your classes? All the places I've looked at you have to be over 18
+Caitlyn Campbell im 18 but i started when i was 16, best decision ever. you'll enjoy it and everyone is usually very open minded in these classes.
My aunt is a professional pole dancer and I'm 14 and I'm very interested to pole dance not for being a 'stripper' but I heard when you pole dance you feel alive but my parents won't let me

I'm a hippie so ??
+makeup queen what does that have to do with it? 😂
Rose Mathers hippies don't pole dance at all

Do U know how HARD it is to do those 3 little baby spins 😂😂🤦🏾♀️
Took a pole dancing class and I learn that upper strength is needed. 😳😰
Autumn A you’ll get that strength. When I first started doing it I had noodle arms:/ now I can support my own weight and do pull ups
I want to start but i have no upper strength rn, should i do it or it will be too embarrassing ? Lol
@@laisUSA1 go for it.. I have no upper strength too. I took my third class yesterday and am getting little bit better

Go you!!!!

I love this. I did pole dancing lessons when I was 18 & this is way more depth ! Thanks !
Pole dancing is seriously so much fun i love it soooo much

Thanks for sharing, practicing at home is now easier.
I am really going to put my mind into this, and I am so exited. THANKS! SUYIN
This is a great resource for pole dance fitness for beginners! Well explained.
For sweaty hands, there is a powder, and there are also fingerless pole gripping gloves for dancers.
Yeah!! The gloves are very nice and actually have helped me a lot to build my strength and grip!
Powder didn't help me at all. I had the sweatiest hands and it ruined my mini career. 😂
I know what I want for Christmas!
Best teaching video so far that i have found! thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I've always wanted to start with pole dancing and now I definately will.
This video is a great motivation. Thank You!
Well im 13 and am doing pole dancing and I have to say that In four months I became very strong and I saw a big difference
Yay! thank you! These were the first moves I learned.
This was so helpful! I am still struggling a little to try and lift my feet off the floor when spinning but I am much better after seeing this video!
Same, I'm watching this at work and now cant wait to try this technique

There isin't any pole dancing classes for kids, so I learn from your amazing videos.
My friend has a pile and I tried it yesterday, and I had no idea what I was doing but apparently I did good things bc now her mom wants to be my personal pole coach
1st two, not a problem. third one is pretty tricky still haven't got it yet. Is the pin wheel also known as the stag?
She is a very good teacher !!!!
I really appreciate the thoroughness of this video! I'm taking a beginners' pole class right now and this was very helpful!
tomorrow is mine! I'm so excited!! :D
Why do these children feel the need to tell their age in the comment section?
Idk?

I wish the woman that was in the video had a youtube channel, I love how she explains things
This truly has inspired me, I’m not a stripper, I do this as a exercise. Thanks so much for this help!

There are many versions of the fireman!
trust me it might looks easy but pole dancing has been the hardest workout of my life. you can also see the bruises on her leg.. but the best thing about it is that you get results so fast! I'm just a beginner now but I wanna be a pro!
Omg I'm starting tomorrow and litrely freaking out but she makes it look easy I really hope it is easy and I won't die after the lesson 😃
She make it look so easy been taking classes nd is harder then u think
Question In order to spin on a pole do you have to buy a spinning pole? I can sit on the pole but i cant spin while sitting on it. what am i doing wrong?
Pole dancing requires so much strength and coordination
Also with the fireman (1st spin) your foot of the inner leg should be behind the pole so you can find your balance within your hips.
It's amazing. I'm going to start my first pole lesson and I'm quite excited and also scared about it. It seems difficult. huu......
respects make it look so easy 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🔥🔥
I'm 14 and want to learn pole dancing. It looks so fun and such a work out
Pole dancing will cause those! I got some my first couple classes, especially on my inner thighs lol
great descriptions! thx
