Bee seems like a damn good leader. Calm, cool, collected, but I also like how he was honest in saying there was SOME concern, yet keeping that to himself, and trying to keep the patient as calm as possible.
Paramedic has final say on how his patient is transported. If he’s happy for the patient to be sea transported then that’s why they’ll do. There are so many variables to consider with a carry like that: the coastal paths are often treacherous and slippery and the risk of causing injury from dropping the patient if you slip is greater than the risk of injury by sea extraction. If you drop a patient there will be a sudden jolt as they hit the floor. With waves, because water is fluid, the motion can be mitigated by the helmsman’s action on the throttle. The water will cushion the landing each time you go over a wave, lessening the impact.
@@angelmedic9829 god that’s horrible sorry to hear it, thanks for everything you do, I’m a bit nervous to look into being a medic / first responder, i don’t know if I’d have It in me to inject people etc

All these lads are volunteers they don’t get paid for this the legends
On any given day, I'd love to go out on the water with these guys, but definitely not like this! They were so professional!!!
That looks so scarey. That guy Bee he knows what he is doing he is good at what he does.
🚴🚴🚴🚴🏄♀️
I had exactly the same accident, poor girl 😢💕.
Did she make a full recovery from her injuries
That would be nice to know.
end of the episode said she only had bad bruising and is riding again
They just could carried her back to the ambulance instead of riding per boat. Might be a 1 and half mile carry but they have had many hands on deck.
yeah not convinced this was worth the risk

Why are people's eyes cock-eyed on this video?
Yeah , Its probs the camera
It's called a lazy eye and it affects 2-5% of the population. It's also hereditary.
Please don't ride animals😑👎🏻
Why couldn’t you get a helicopter out ? Would of avoided her moving too much with the waves and that
Too much fog, low visibility
@@angelmedic9829 yeah true what a shame
@@angelmedic9829 least she was ok in the end
@@joshmaggooo7140 it’s too risky, we had one of our local med helicopters go out in a storm and it ended up crashing, killed all aboard
