21:32 So basicaly, Before Asriel died, he came back to the underground and "his dust spread across the garden". We also know that in monster culture: "At funerals, we take that dust and spread it on that person's favourite thing. Then their essense will live on in that thing..." This means that when Asriel died, his "essence" went to the flowers in the garden or seeds stuck to the Chara's body. Many years later Alphys started her determination experiments. She was looking for a vessel that was neither human nor monster to hold collected souls of fallen monsters until the time comes. In the lab we read: "I've chosen the candidate. I haven't told Asgore yet, because I want to suprise him with it... In the center of his garden, there's something special. The first golden flower, that grew before all the others. The flower from the outside world. [...] I wonder... What happens when something without a SOUL gains the will to live?" And injected determination into it. This turned out to be the one with Asriel's essense and therefore his memories, personality and behaviour. But his soul was destroyed when he died so he was unable to feel compassion. "Love, hope, compassion... This is what people say monster SOULs are made of. But the absolute nature of the "SOUL" is unknown." And later we read that... "the flower's gone."

I absolutetly adore your opinions here and have always stood by the same mentality. Trevor, it's hard to say this when theres such a large audience now but PLEASE, do not give in and feel pressured to do things you do not want to do. If you don't want to play a game, don't want to do a certain run or do hours or searching for a tiny secret, you absolutely do not have to. It wasn't until later on in your Deltarune run that I tried having a little more fun in chat. But thank you! Ever since I found your channel through that first Undertale stream, I've been hooked ever since! The inside jokes and authentic reactions are something I really haven't seen with a lot of streamers. So thank you for making my day with every new post and making me smile! 🤗

37:19 -37:34 I agree with everything said here, wanting to add on. Flowerfell, a popular AU of an AU, was canceled due to the backlash of the community. New AbyssTale, same way, fans pressuring creators who are trying to make new things while they make ideas for the main hiatused projects to start back the main story is quite common. Many AUs have been erased as it were by hateful communities, which is what I think Underverse Season One conveys with Ink (as much as I hate his stupid face). I don't mean to TedTALK over a comment, but it got me thinking. Good video as always!
@x_MoonlitShade Jakei announced that she was taking a year and a half hiatus from the show, working on Metadora and the 21 Years comic. So in 2026, we'll have 0.8 part 2, 3, 0.9, and finally 1.0. I imagine we're gonna have a completed Deltarune by then tbh
@@CloudRider-t2t Damn that actually fucking sucks. I mean, I understand it, working on high quality animations all the time has probably led to some burnout, but still sucks for the fanbase. And who knows, after 2 years away, she might at that point decide to never return to it.
@@x_MoonlitShade I doubt it. She said on her post that the premiere chat's excitement made her want to jump back in but she didn't for fear of burnout. I recommend you watch her video title "Update" and read her community post
21:41 welp time to LORESPLAIN In the "Librarby", there exists a bookshelf that you can interact with that explains monster funerals, and how they work When a monster dies and their body turns into dust, the family of the monster arranges a funeral where the dust is spread onto their favourite object, so that their essence will 'live on' in that object When Asriel returns from the surface and dies, he actually brings back golden flower seeds from the village on his body, we know this because Alphys describes the first golden flower sprouted in Asgore's garden as "The flower from the outside world", and that "the seeds just stick to you, and won't let go..." This also explains how the golden flowers end up in the ruins (stuck to the first human's body when they were buried) and the garbage dump (stuck to alphys as she visits there frequently) ANYHOO. The dust spread on the golden flower seeds in Asgore's garden infused them with Asriel's essence, which then is reawakened when Alphys injects determination into the flower It takes a bit for him to wake up, but by then Alphys has already assumed experiments on the vessel a failure and returned the flower to the garden, where Flowey finally wakes up The reason he's such a fucked up lil scrimbly in the game is because the flower body he's in doesn't have a soul, and then presumably he is then unable to feel love because of that hee hee. hee heehee hee hahaha hoo hoo. ho ho ho. MERRY CHRISTMAS! (i am dying)
21:32 one of the determination experiments happened to be on the flowers that asriel’s dust and, thus, his essence was spread on. Being injected with determination gave the essence in the flower the will to keep going, manifesting as flowey.

I can't recommend enough watching Underverse, it is an incredible series with amazing writing, animation and music, and manages to tie together a lot of corners of the fandom in a really engaging way. If you'd like to go into it with a bit more understanding of what lies ahead you could totally watch the video "Everything you need to know before watching Underverse/XTale," but in all honesty I don't think it is 100% required. It would definitely help clear things up before diving in, but lots of people dive into Underverse without that context and still enjoy it plenty. 29:57 if youre interested in learning more about gaster i highly recommend mistysparkles video "who is wd gaster and why is he important to deltarune." misty does a great job at explaining everything we know about him, as well as some popular fan theories.
I'd recommend you react to “the scene that changed sans” by ArtsyRean. It's a newer video which I believe does a great job analyzing Sans as a character.
if you want to react to some cool animatics, whether on stream or not, some good ones to watch would be underverse and (arguably) glitchtale. they're both semi-long series with many episodes. but considering the description you put in the video, only do it if you really want to
36:40 The needle story was misinformation, people saying it's because the artist draw Frans but it's never confirm to be the reason, and it's never mention in original post. Plus the artist got cancelled few years later for something like manipulate her friends to lend her money and she never return it, so the needle incident is probably cause by other reason.
8:37 IMO it’s because of the 2 lines « I’m 19 years old and I already wasted my entire life » and « I can’t go to hell. I’m all out of vacation days ». Those lines were memes to death LOL
Imagine people finding genocide because they just wanted more LV. And then “BUT NOBODY CAME” Also, while watching I got a very random thought… Monsters are made of magic. Their food, is made of magic… cannibalism?
I remember a very brief window before undertake hit mainstream appeal, there was a wierd bandwagon anti-force for what was becoming popular, and it just so happened to land on undertale, and the fan base acting a bit cringe sometimes only made things worse 😂😭
11:11 every time to pet that dog his head grows just a little. 13:31 its the credits 14:56 arent you forced to do neutral before anything? After defeating flowey in netural he tells you about it and gives you the ability to. 29:48 yes it is, it appears if you have a certain FUN value at the start of the game (61, 62,and 64 for all gaster followers) (66 to meet the man himself, melting looking man.) 36:49 ridiculous but it happened, it also has happened in other fandons :|
Wow so many interruptions that it takes 6 minutes to watch the first 3 minutes of the video he's reacting to and according to comments the best part isn't even there? Bro must be really fun to exist with in a movie night 💀
i believe a big reason why there are so many vocal and toxic undertale fans is because, for one reason or another, undertale attracts a lot of really young fans. its in the same category as something like fnaf or poppys playtime, where an absurd amount of the fandom is under the age of 14. kids that age are excitable and they dont really have a concept of reasonable responses to things they dislike, hence the insane backseating and hate.
21:50 to awnser your question, it is stated during your walk towards Asgore's garden by the monsters, that Asriel died directly on that garden And, in one of the books from the Snowding Library, it is stated that whenever a monster dies, their "essense" is passed on to whatever their dust falls on So, when Alphys put determination in a Golden Flower from Asgore's garden, she got the very flowey that is imbued with Asriel's essence
I’m not sure if you already know this, but here’s how Asriel became Flowey. Flowey’s existence is the result of determination. In the True Lab, Alphys’s experiments reveal that determination is a power stemming from the will to live and the resolve to change fate. Alphys experimented with determination in hopes of freeing the monsters using this power. She injected determination into the SOULs of monsters but became curious: What happens when something without a SOUL gains the will to live? To test this, she injected the first golden flower from the surface world with determination. However, Asriel had died in the same location where this golden flower grew. His remains were present in the area, and the flower infused with determination gained life as Flowey. He refused to die and succeeded, but without a SOUL, he lost the ability to feel love or care for anyone. Fun fact! Whoever possesses the strongest determination can gain the power to SAVE and RESET. Flowey initially had these abilities, but when Frisk entered the Underground, their determination surpassed his. As a result, Flowey lost the ability to SAVE or RESET and became “predictable” like other monsters. I did some ChatGpt to write this. Thank you for reading this long ass essay.
00:08 - $5k Kickstarter 00:19 - budget 10 times his initial ask 00:30 - "I've heard this fun fact about how it got 10 times more than it wanted to" What the fuck is this level of lack of attention called 💀
Hi there! Have you ever considered reacting to an undertale iceberg? it seems that undertale has plenty of secrets that you could hardly know about. By the way, did you know that the neutral route has multiple endings? 19 endings to be exact, each one being the consecuence of how many or which monsters you k!lled... There's even one you can only get if you modify the files, isn't that crazy?

Is it confirmed that Trevor is going to watch underverse?
Man, why cut the video reaction
i really love how you were very honest about the worst parts of the undertale/deltarune community. i wish more people here knew that no one likes being told what to do in their own gameplay, ESPECIALLY when the game itself encourages you to make your own decisions. its like were not even playing the same game 😭😭😭
21:49 he came back cuz alphys was expiriminting with determination and injected it into a flower and by chance that flower had asrials dust in it. It was one of the flowers he died on
Trevor needs to see X!Tale and Underverse ngl..
It's a newer video which I believe does a great job analyzing Sans as a character.
ill reply so this gets noticed
Another good undertale vid you could watch is "what was so good about undertale anyway" by andrew Cunningham.
What vod‘s this from? I think I’d rather watch the full video rather than the cut version.
It's not streamed, it's recorded offline
the one u call killua is from underverse made by jakei
So sorry is a rare monster in hot land that only appears on ONE day throughout the year.
21:41 his dust was spread over the first golden flower in asgores garden, and alphys injected the flower with determination. Bringing it to life
if you want to react to some cool animatics, whether on stream or not, some good ones to watch would be underverse and (arguably) glitchtale. they're both semi-long series with many episodes. but considering the description you put in the video, only do it if you really want to
36:40 The needle story was misinformation, people saying it's because the artist draw Frans but it's never confirm to be the reason, and it's never mention in original post.
And then “BUT NOBODY CAME”
Also, while watching I got a very random thought…
Monsters are made of magic. Their food, is made of magic…
cannibalism?
The only thing i knew going into undertale is that it was a RPG
+ A project called flowerfell was cancelled due to the community being too toxic
11:50 I mean, people wanted to find out what the max level was, so they tried to max put their lvl at sone point
13:02 It's been so long since I've seen that scene without Goku
I recommend watching "who Dr Gaster is and why that matters to Deltarune" apongside part 2 next
One thing you should react to is Underevent. A celebration of the community and the biggest collab ever
I demand part 2 with the cut content
NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT SO SORRY??
You don’t know a BUNCH about the game, according to the RNG you need at least 50 playthroughs to see everything
Oh reaction ! Video!
I remember a very brief window before undertake hit mainstream appeal, there was a wierd bandwagon anti-force for what was becoming popular, and it just so happened to land on undertale, and the fan base acting a bit cringe sometimes only made things worse 😂😭
According to BTS material, it is Al-feez, but I'm still not sure I accept this.
Omg there is an actual chance we might get a glitchtale reaction
11:11 every time to pet that dog his head grows just a little.
13:31 its the credits
14:56 arent you forced to do neutral before anything? After defeating flowey in netural he tells you about it and gives you the ability to.
29:48 yes it is, it appears if you have a certain FUN value at the start of the game (61, 62,and 64 for all gaster followers) (66 to meet the man himself, melting looking man.)
36:49 ridiculous but it happened, it also has happened in other fandons :|
Y'know for most people their favorite is Goat Mom Toriel, Comic Sans, The Great Papyrus, etc. Yours is "Monster who wants to make out with a fish" lol
Under 7 hours gang here

petition to make trevor watch underverse
38:06 luckily the creator of Underfell (Underfella) has come back to the internet, they're on Twitter and Tumblr ^^
21:50 to awnser your question, it is stated during your walk towards Asgore's garden by the monsters, that Asriel died directly on that garden
And, in one of the books from the Snowding Library, it is stated that whenever a monster dies, their "essense" is passed on to whatever their dust falls on
So, when Alphys put determination in a Golden Flower from Asgore's garden, she got the very flowey that is imbued with Asriel's essence
WATCH UNDERVERSE AND XTALE PLEASE!!!!

What the fuck is this level of lack of attention called 💀
31:11 XTALE/UNDERVERSE MY GOATTTT
31:15 GLITCHTALE RIGHT AFTER WWW
he should watch underverse
Next time try ddlc theory reaction
Which one?
Game theory-don’t trust Yuri
Ah okay
I feel like he’d have to watch all of them, from every creator or he could believe in outdated stuff we know to be untrue now
what's the vod to watch it fully chat?
2:51
Please watch videos about gaster
11:11 most of it
39:57 thx, but I know that's not me
