Just because there is little archeological evidence for something doesn’t mean it didn’t exist. I no longer have copies of work I’ve done in the past, doesn’t mean I never did it. People were not into preserving things like we do today. Some even more recent events have very little evidence of them even happening. I find that he doesn’t question the authorship of the Bible, like who are the actual writers, many of them anonymous, non eye witnesses- that is a primary reason to reject the Bible, not the content.

That is the oldest surviving and most accurate OT scriptures we have and been used by the Christian Church since the beginning and still by a large portion of the population, just not western protestants.

You have Josephus recounting the exact way the Septuagint was commissioned and that was a Jew living in Jerusalem in the first century A.D before the 70 A.D destruction... he was well aware of it, it's not a guess. You should have pushed him with more detailed questions. For example when he says it doesn’t matter what type of skin it is. It has a huge difference. So I prayed to God about it and after a few days while doing chores happily I heard: "NOW" within my whole being and my eyes locked on the place where cards were. What’s studying the Bible have to do with anything. It’s a book of fiction and belongs on the bookshelf next to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. In 1993 a 15 year long study was concluded by the WORLDS FOREMOST AUTHORITY ON BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY and they came to the conclusion that the first 10 books of the Bible are COMPLETE FICTION!!! ABRAHAM, Jacob, Moses, King David, and King Solomon in all his splendour, never existed If the first 10 books of the Bible are FICTION then why would the remaining 56 books be any different? Do you know how many times the Bible has been retranslated,re-edited and rewritten? I will tell you the answer. Nobody knows because Biblical scholars have lost count. It’s been that many times. Popes,Kings have had them rewritten and re-edited to fit their agendas all throughout history. Nobody knows what the original scripts said. When you read the Bible,which I have twice cover to cover,it’s filled with so many contradictory statements and things that make zero sense. The gospels are not first hand accounts of the Jesus character. The Jesus character is a rip-off of other so called “Gods” that predate Jesus by 500-2000 years. There are over a dozen “Gods” with the exact same story. They were born of a virgin on December 25. They raised the dead and healed the sick. They had 12 followers and many of them were crucified. It’s amazing to me that people choose to believe that the Jesus story is the real one when it’s super clear that it’s a plagiarized story. Also the Jesus characters name could not of been Jesus because the letter “J “ wasn’t invented until the 16th century around 1525 AD. These are fairly tales that were written just like we have fairytales today and that have been around for thousands of years. I have a minor in religious studies and it didn’t take long for me to figure out that the Bible and any other Holy books are just bullshit. There are things in the Bible that people think are fact like the Exodus from Egypt. It never happened. There’s ZERO archaeological evidence for it. There are so many other examples of things that never happened like another one is Noah’s Ark. But people go to church and have been brainwashed into believing this bullshit. Then the donation baskets come around. LMFAO. I grew up in the church but my dad made me read the entire Bible when I was 14 years old. Looking back in so glad he did because if I never did I would not of seen all the bs in it. I graduated high school early when I was 16 and when I got to college I was still interested in of it was real or not and I started taking classes on it. I received a minor in religious studies which I never planned but it just worked out that way. It doesn’t take much education to figure out that it’s all bullshit. Wake up people. If you are over 30 years old and actually believe this shit because church has told you that it’s real. Do some actual research on your own and you will find out the truth. It’s not real. I won’t lie, I question the Bible, I also question religion. I believe in a god and there must be one considering the creation of life on earth and the creation of the universe. People were not into preserving things like we do today. Some even more recent events have very little evidence of them even happening. You mean the Greek Septuagint that was transcribed by Hebrew scribes via the commissioning of Ptolemy in the 3rd Century BC for the Library at Alexandria? That is the oldest surviving and most accurate OT scriptures we have and been used by the Christian Church since the beginning and still by a large portion of the population, just not western protestants.

When I turned my life to Jesus Christ and started praying, one of the things I prayed about is should I throw away Osho Zen Tarot that I used to use for myself every now and then but haven't used it for awhile. It did not have value in my current life but I still did not want to get rid of it just because "I should".
So I prayed to God about it and after a few days while doing chores happily I heard: "NOW" within my whole being and my eyes locked on the place where cards were.
So I smiled and threw them outside in the paper bin and made nothing of it, just thanking God on the clarity.
