@@user-le5gs9kh7x well you aren't aware of the Olympics rule right? U-23 players are allowed with just 4 overage players allowed at max. And euros are not an excuse my friend. Look at Spain's squad. Pedri, olmo, Unai, Eric Garcia, etc from the Euro squad.
The women fought for a rule change for these olympics to represent Great Britain (so there are a couple of players from Scotland), the men (U23s) obviously weren’t interested.
England had to get out of there group in the u21s euros in 2019 but they didn’t so team gb men’s didn’t qualify. However even if they did qualify there were doubts of team gb fielding a men’s team because the welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish fa’s feared they’d loose there individual status even though Fifa assured them they would not. The English fa however are fine with fielding a team but ofc it cannot be only English players so it would be done to the other 3 nations.
