Great video. I’m one of those idiots that paid 1k for a set of those name brands. You’re right nobody knows or even cares what brand I’m rocking. Wish I would’ve shopped around and got the same set you picked up. Your bike looks killer, keep up the honest content.

Your comments in the first 18seconds of this video had my hooked man! I have this discussion all the time with other bikers! I had a 2019 street glide special. It had mostly harley parts. It got totaled and I bought a 21 street glide special a few months ago. I am in the process of setting it up like my 19 was. Been buying alot of parts on marketplace and ebay for it. I saw the four point docking hardware on ebay for as low as $20. I wasn't going to take the chance of buying it thinking it wasn't as sturdy so I found a used set and bought it. I also wanted to change the original crash bars to the flat out bars. I looked and saw some for pretty cheap and thought they wouldn't be as sturdy. Again, I found some used original bars and bought them. I like the looks of the bars but I wish they were wider. Not sure if I will get any saddle bag bars yet but I may go the "cheaper" route if I do.
@@scottlin777 with the sliders on the end, these sit out a little wider than stock crash bars. The bag guards (same brand as this flat bar) sit out maybe an inch past the bag guards. Just enough to protect the bags in case of a worst case scenario 🤘🏻 ride safe
I thank you for the honesty! These butt hurt peeps can't handle the truth! I feel the same way. Although Santoro makes nice products, I believe better-looking hardware should have been used. Such a good looking part, and the cheap looking bolts just stands out! Plastic should not be used in a place that gets so much abuse. I'm with you! We work way to hard for that $, to get less then what we expect.

And despite the plastic and hardware, I’m sure there’s at least a dozen people that placed an order after watching the video. Thousands of views. I’m sure there were few orders.
@@Gimps_Garage Watching it now. I went with the Harley set. I first bought some aftermarket ones but they didn't fit the best. The proof is in the pudding like they say. I never put to much thought into Crash Bars till I needed them.
