+John Jillling It's because Joey can actually carry a conversation that's at least normal and not some obscure rant 20 minute rant about what some random salimander does in the amazon when it rains sideways in February. Joey also doesn't talk over his guests which allows for a much more smooth and flowing exchange of ideas and philosophies, rather than just surviving Joe Rogan's ridiculous neanderthal wikipedia ph-d perception towards topics like philosophy and archeology and science, and you're left just sitting there wondering what the fuck is the even point of this conversation. Also, Joey doesn't put up with bullshit, once he sees something fucked, he backs off an doesn't talk to you. Whereas Joe has been awkwardly bumping into the elephant in the room that is Brian Redban since day 1 and never actually tells him to fuck off and stop speaking to that child molesting sociopath like any one else in their right mind would would have by episode 100. That stupid shit he does only lasts so long, then it becomes too much man. Joey and Lee have an awesome chemistry where they can literally sit down and have a beautiful conversation as friends, about life as if Joey is lee's father lol. I think the JRE was over by episode 200, and ever since then Joe it's been an overdrawn diluted version of Joe not being able to say no. Ever since this podcast started, it's been this and the onnit podcast bro. Everything else is next to intolerable.
As a kid in his mid-twenties who grew up without a powerful father-figure in my life, I take all the motivation and advice I can get because it's not there bro. I can't pick up the phone and call my pops to ask him what to do, I had to teach myself how to shave and how to work a shower instead of baths, how to stand tall with my shoulders back and speak with confidence, how to walk like I have places to be with a purpose. This isn't to complain, this is just appreciation for powerful male figures giving advice for the masses through life experiences and blood sweat and tears. JRE and this podcast have helped me big time the past 4 years. Thanks Joey
Bookmarked this and if I ever feel like giving up on anything i'm listening to this again. One of the best episodes of any podcast I've ever listened to.
Less than a week after I finished my master’s degree in counseling I opened my own private business in 2024 as a 26 year old man. I had to move across the continent to do it. BUT I GOT THE JOB DONE! HUSTLE!
I find it interesting that after hitting that these important conversations are being had. the energy of this conversation is undeniable. Thank you Joey coco Diaz for being real.
Joey ive always enjoyed your stand up but this is the first time ive really listened to this show you do... got a lot more out of it then just laughs which was all i expected, thanks man! Def gonna be watching more of these
listened to this show, podcast whatever its called got to my dead end job made a few calls in the car park, clocked in then handed in my notice boss said go now i left starting better (lot better) job monday depression lifted already thank you lee and joey hopefully that first twenty minutes changed my life or gave me the bollocks to change it for myself once again thank you
joey hit the nail n the head. workers today don't work hard you want big money work hard and extra for free. the best are the first ones in and the last ones out of the office. thank you joey and lee for sharing
I don't know about anyone else that watches joeys podcasts, but a lot of people blow smoke up joeys ass from the comments section, and rightly so he's a very interesting and funny guy, but I think lee is coming his own, his mind is opening massively still a little shy at the beginning but when he starts opening up, its awesome, It's great to watch another person develop in such a positive and interesting manner.
I love when joey talks about mercy....you can tell HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES HIS LITTLE GIRL more than life itself..... I love hearing about/seeing postive, happy, fun loveing, attentive father-daughter relationships. I remember fondly as a child no matter how early daddy had to leave for work(hes a union carpenter, MY real life BOB THE BUILDER,) he would.come upstairs give me a kiss on the cheek & a hug, & say "LOVE YOU GIRL, see you after work" & half asleep id say "LOVE you too, see you later" #IMADADDYSGIRL 💪🫶🤟💯 #bobthebuilder🔨🪜🪛🛠️🧰🚬 #oneofmybestBUDS 💨💨🤣💙
Thank you for giving us a great body of work that offers therapy to real MFers all over the country. People who come from the streets and the struggle understand you. Your show is oxygen for alot of us ty Joey and Lee
@@MrSkarbek36 glad I saw this comment. I’m listening and thinking that I know I heard Joey mention this. It was during one of his newer pods, but he mentioned it quickly, I wasn’t sure if I heard right.
I joined the Navy early in life, 26 years later I am retired in my early 40s and I volunteer in my friends tattoo shop. No student loans; I hunt, fish, work out, read history, learn languages, watch The Church and hang out with my wife and son. The military is not for everyone but if you have a goal to retire young, suck it up, work hard, save and then play for the last 30-40 years of your life.
Mauricio Ruiz Do not get caught up in consumerism and keep it simple. While your friends buy new cars and houses, kick back and save your money. Have fun and live comfortably but the time goes by super fast.... While your friends build their own prisons (of debt) you will remain free!!
This was just an inspiring talk from an older voice. I don't agree with everything he said, but that being said, I will still be following some of his advice in the future.
Uncle Joey.. Kicking down some knowledge. I can relate. Love Joey because he just is as real as it gets. Has a funny bone. But real as bruce LEE ! Enough with the chitta'chattah !
There's #1 getting ahead in life because you busted your ass off. And #2 there's getting ahead somewhere because you made the most of a great opportunity: you worked hard AFTER you got the chance, but you still were GIVEN a chance. Lee is the 2nd. Everything Joey says resonates as true advice because he's the 1st one, but everything Lee says makes me want to punch his shit because he's in the second category pretending like he's in the first. Not to mention the system's straight up broken if Master's degrees cant even get entry level shit.
like Uncle joey said he can look at somebody and tell if they're fat or if they like to eat a lot I don't think he's trying hard enough I don't think he's applying himself like he should that or they see that he's high and they don't want to hire him because they think he's going to be unreliable banging heroin for breakfast
I'm talking about his statement, not Lee's actual predicament. He's doing a great job of seizing his opportunities. It' just doesn't make sense to say some one should spend so much time in school and be happy with an unpaid internship. That's not what you get your masters or doctorate for. The dream they sell you is more education=higher pay, which isn't as true today as it was 20 or 30 years ago.
not all us are lazy.. I talk about this all the time with my friends I'm 28 and i've owned a business for over 5 years and its growing everyday. No business loans, no college just hard work.. get your shit together people
people talk about the privilege of being born to a wealthy family i laugh at that, I rather be instilled with work ethic than to have an easy life of sitting on my assa all day, you’re lucky you had work ethic instilled to you at a young age
Your so right boostingnis a way of life on the east coast and mid west ..I tell all the boosters to come by and show me what they got..I done got clothes electronics and whatever from boosters lol west coast seems like a place where they would call the cops quick on u.
Hey Tio Joey good podcast discussion about working and there's always jobs out there if people want to work. I wanted to say that I have friend who's obese and has been looking for a job over 2 years. He always says he can't get a job because he's obese. I don't know if it's true but if it is its fucked up lol
Old church episodes are the best! Happy 2023 to anyone still listening
Happy 2024 cocksucka

Is it just me or do I enjoy watching the church of what's happening over the JRE?
+John Jillling no shit
Yeh JRE isn't as good as it once was and this podcast is just getting better
JRE would be a lot better if you didnt have to hear JR pretend to be smart. At least he got rid of redban, that''s one step in the right direction
