Yeh it’s so perfect for Japan as Japan is probably one of the best vans for vanlife. Especially here in Miyazaki. Waves are very small this week but it’s always fun to be in the ocean. 😆 thanks 🤙

As an ex-Brit - my brain is trying very hard to decipher your (amalgam of) accent(s) - - I could hear Ireland, Welsh, Scottish - Northern European!!! Care to share your port of origin? 😊. Hi Ryan, that is a nice van, mate. I am here in Australia and I have an imported hiace can I ask where did you get the bug nets for your side and back doors please I have been trying to find them, if you could help that would be great.

Is that rear seat stock? I wonder if I can do the same in my Hiace. What a wonderful van right? Only have mine for a year now and last winter van life was so fun!!
Yeh it’s the stock one for hiace dx with a leather cover on it. I was lucky because I was able to line up 2 of the holes to bolt it down. My friend who reversed his seat he had to by a special frame to do that. Yeh the hiace is absolutely perfect for Japan. I think if I upgrade I would like the hiroof but non wide so basically exact same version as mine but high roof. You do winter trips too?
@@mountainswell thanks! my wife's hometown is in Niigata so we spend a lot of time there in winter. Usually hang out in Yuzawa area or Myoko. La Nina will grace us this year so looking forward to some deep powder. I'll be sure to say hello if I see you!

Yeh here is 35 degrees each day and about 30 at night. Sleep with doors open but really nice with sound of ocean. Wind and clouds sounds nice 😆
