As a 43 year old man from the uk 🇬🇧, life gaming for me started with my Amstrad cpc 464 and the Commodore 64 but the tape cassette versions pre disk( oh the hell of loading games) but I guess you could say I grew up in the game console boom era, I started with the NES, then SNES, mega drive, game boy, lynx, mega cd, then moved into the PlayStation consoles to my current ps5, all still stored in my loft. but what I love is when you show rare consoles from random company’s that never made it to the uk 🇬🇧 like stuff from Japan and the USA that came from company’s you would never have thought made game consoles, super interesting. Keep up the good work brother. Wishing you all the success with the store.

First time I saw one of these was in a Bangkok retro shop called O Corner. This shop has some super rare items but the cost is high as they import I assume from Japan. It is rare but not everyone knows what they are unless you are super into Apple retro or deep into “other” retro stuff
It's a sweet idea: trading some of the best Pokemon games from the OG gen of games for a grail. The problem is I think you tried selling with businesses instead of collectors. If you tried selling with collectors you'd probably could've gotten more for that trio of gameboy grails.
I think this can be summed up by the song “The Gambler” by Kenny Rodgers. What a complete waste of money, should have “walked away”. Lol ouch this was hard to watch.
We know 3 guys wanted to pay $600 plus for the Pokemon but if you went around trying to sell the Apple, would you have anyone wanting to buy it for $600? If the answer is no, then you know which one is more valuable
That’s not how value works lol. If we are talking about what’s easier to sell then yeah, it’s obviously the pokemon, but that doesn’t mean the other isn’t as valuable.

all gameboycolor pokemon games always seem less valuable than the other games because the save feature can stop working over time. but these games still go for about the same as other good authentic titles👍

They were 35$ retail, but this was before Nintendo could refuse to lower prices on 20 year old games, so if they didn't buy it on launch coulda been even less.
