Wow! This is one of my all-time favorites. They hit this one out of the ballpark. What a brilliant idea Jeremiah had with the beams over the doors to compensate for the small fireplace. And that lantern ties it all together. Just wow.😍😍😍
I love love these short shows. I prefer all my home shows to be this length! Couldn’t get through the ones that drag out the renovations for an hour with a 5 min reveal. And even if the house isn’t necessarily my taste, they’re always well done unlike that one show where they put hay on someone’s walls
It looks amazing, so much better!... The expensive doors made it elegant. Why 2 living rooms. A kitchen or a nice hobby room in the front. I don't see them use the front room at all.
The flange surrounding the fireplace would have matched the scale (size) of the door handle plates. The ‘headers’ above the doors should have been sunken into the wall, instead of attached to the wall.
Okay I guess I'm the only one that seems like the fireplace is fine lol. If they never addressed it in this video, literally none of you would be complaining or even notice. No one LOOKS through their fireplace to the other room. If anything, this feels more private while still being able to enjoy a double sided fireplace. Y'all just WANT something to complain about.
emm...no. i was watching it with sound off...when they just showed it to us, i was like wth...its a mistake and they r definitely going to fix it....instead, they hung a (very pretty) light over it claiming it was somehow a "new" design trick
Cuando me preguntan cuál es mi estilo de diseño favorito digo el de nate y jeremiah: cálido, natural elegante, antiguo, multicultural, de líneas suabes, atemporal, etc básicamente todo lo que amo junto
the Fireplace wall. As a interior Designer this is the most frightening thing that can happen. that is when my stomach ends up in my throat. Ug, but sometines it does work ou in he end,, Been there,
Imo the first room looks not quite done. I'd want a raised hearth, a mantel and maybe 2 lights. The doors look out of place, maybe open with chunky trim/frames.

Renovating a fixer upper is not as easy as it looks. So many people think they can replicate what is on the internet or Television…little do they know….I love Nate Butkus but generally his designs are not my style. I guess if you like this style, it’s nice but no matter what style, I will never understand having white furniture with kids though 🙄… at least not where a house is a home and lived in not just a showcase for design and furniture.
I love these two....but I DON’T like the fireplace. It ABSOLUTELY needs to be bigger! It should be at least the same length as the TV and double the width. Not liking the doors with the chunky wood beams.
outdoor lighting has been used on inside by so many designers i lost count (including me already about 10y ago). and no, sorry, the fire place is still too small and looks too small
The fireplace isn't 8 inches too small, it's 28 inches too small and not high enough. If you're going to have a focal point, that's the point. Otherwise you have to lie down on the floor to see into the other side and fireplaces by proportion aren't designed to be horizontal slits and that drama would have come with one big enough to actually, you know, see into the other side. The place is cold too, even with the fire so where's Chip and Jo Jo when you need them?
I think sometime in the future there gonna replace that fireplace the scale thing is a fix for your eyes but when you live in it you will notice that it’s off
A few weeks ago we were shown an over-saturated 1950’s cartoon of a house. Now we have a color-free ski chalet. (No, beige is not “adding color.”) Boring.
Did they want a chalet look? I think maybe the client mentions something they like sometimes and it’s way overdone with the idea. Not crazy about the wood beams on the walls.
This is a prime example of why you don't do a risky design experiment. I was not impressed as with the other projects they did. It looks like a child's dark, gray playpen blew up in the kitchen. Hope the homeowners still like what they have.
I love the wood beams on the wall with the black and white photographs on it-STUNNING!!
I think what they did to offset the smaller than expected fireplace, worked! This is gorgeous!
Wow! This is one of my all-time favorites. They hit this one out of the ballpark. What a brilliant idea Jeremiah had with the beams over the doors to compensate for the small fireplace. And that lantern ties it all together. Just wow.😍😍😍
I have loved Nate since Oprah introduced him to us, and I'm so happy he found Jeremiah to love. Together they are an awesome pair.
DITTO!!! ☺
How do people not pass out after seeing how incredibly gorgeous the update is? Nate and Jeremiah are incredible.
Those doors! What a stunning design! Wish we could've seen the rest of the episode. Sweet couple!
I love Nate and Jeremiah. I think that is one of the best entrances ever
Having Nate and Jeremiah design and decorate is like winning the lottery.
Loved the coffee table. Everything looks stunning beautiful. Great home
The house looks stunning you guys are so talented

Just amazing! You two ROCK!!
I love your designs, they're do thoughtful, keep them coming love watching your episodes.
So talented! Beautiful design!👏
Beautiful amazing job you all did just awesome!
WOW. Absolutely stunning home!!! They are so lucky. What an amazing transformation. I am inlove!
Beautiful design..those doors make the entire space!!
Again life changing for this family!
Beautiful job - that was not an easy space to do 👍🏻👍🏻
Nate and Jeremiah are incredible designers!
Ioved this! What a beautiful transformation.
It looks amazing, so much better!... The expensive doors made it elegant. Why 2 living rooms. A kitchen or a nice hobby room in the front. I don't see them use the front room at all.
What a use of fire place amazing. You both looks nice togather and work as well
That’s quite the entrance Nate! Jer looked terrified.
The flange surrounding the fireplace would have matched the scale (size) of the door handle plates. The ‘headers’ above the doors should have been sunken into the wall, instead of attached to the wall.
How absolutely amazing ...never thought it would work.....amazing amazing

I thought the fireplace was fine but didn’t really like the light.
I watch the show because decorations and proportions are very important to me. The fireplace is too small.
Together they nailed it again.
1 of the best transformations!
Love the house! Great job guys
Stunning update!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome work guys beautiful
Where is the sectional sofa from please? Beautiful job again!!!

Stunning design. Loved it❤🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice transformation but that glass railing on that loft looks hella dangerous.
Stunning.
What a sweet couple!
Wowwww you guys are sweetheart amazing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where is the white sectional from?!
Where is the kitchen.?
so wow! i love it!
Why do i feel like the wall lamp is bigger than the fireplace lol
Where did you get the first coffee table?
Wow !!!
What the flange?! Hahaha
Where do I sign up?
This is a perfect end result
I LOVE IT, ❤️❤️❤️
They rock.....the home is so them....✨
What about the kitchen
the Fireplace wall. As a interior Designer this is the most frightening thing that can happen. that is when my stomach ends up in my throat. Ug, but sometines it does work ou in he end,, Been there,
I love it!
fabulous
Sandblasting great idea
Amazing
I love it.
Son únicos, me fascinan saludos desde México 😍
I love this

Yes, skip the doors, especially with the beige. It feels like rot has set in...
Who are you ????

Nate and Jeremiah the fireplace still looks small to me.
Same here, it's lost. Need to be both taller and wider...
I love these two....but I DON’T like the fireplace. It ABSOLUTELY needs to be bigger! It should be at least the same length as the TV and double the width. Not liking the doors with the chunky wood beams.
Three Thumbs UP

I completely agree with you. I noticed that outdoor light right away, highlighting the too-small fireplace. Idk what they were thinking.
👌👌👌💖🙏
WOW, those home owners aren’t very bright .
That fireplace is a joke.
The fireplace isn't 8 inches too small, it's 28 inches too small and not high enough. If you're going to have a focal point, that's the point. Unfinished the house looked better than than the after.
Like the *idea* of the double -sided fireplace...
Don't like the room and the fireplace is seriously wrong...also the lamp over it ? Doesn't help a bit....contrary
A mistake should always be fixed. Fireplace is way too small. If your tgat good of a designer than be that but your less and it showes.
I think sometime in the future there gonna replace that fireplace the scale thing is a fix for your eyes but when you live in it you will notice that it’s off
I still think that the fireplace is too small.
Lol it’s like a easy bake🤦🏾♀️
I'm not 😭
You guys screwed up with the fireplace, so you need to eat your mistake.
A few weeks ago we were shown an over-saturated 1950’s cartoon of a house. Now we have a color-free ski chalet. (No, beige is not “adding color.”) Boring.
Absolutely hate the beige.
Easy bake! LOL
Did they want a chalet look? I think maybe the client mentions something they like sometimes and it’s way overdone with the idea. Not crazy about the wood beams on the walls.
The loft makes no sense to me.
The girls have to change clothes behind glass
I’m so confused....you have all those beautiful floors, then you cover them with a huge rug??
Layering makes the area feel more interesting
OR since it's your show and YOUR mistake YOU pay for it. Also not too hyped on having heavy beams over the door you walk thorugh.
OMG 😍💋 💝💖❤️
This is a prime example of why you don't do a risky design experiment. I was not impressed as with the other projects they did. It looks like a child's dark, gray playpen blew up in the kitchen. Hope the homeowners still like what they have.
I am disappointed, i dont like...
Not your best Nate
I hate the fireplace...epic Fail
