Really good to see this again. So nostalgic, really making me desperate to get back out there again soon. I did the western section in summer 2021 and the eastern section this summer, just an amazing experience and so much quieter than most national trails. Also really impressed with your wifes knowledge of wild mushrooms its such usefull skill to have.
Glad you liked it and that you were able to relate it to your own experience. We often revisit the vids, particularly as winter is coming on (we're not so hard that the weather is never an obstacle). Diane continues to forage just as enthusiastically and it's safe to say that we're never short of mushrooms!
Agree about the wind farms; they are a bit menacing. Had my taste of them on the Pacific Crest Trail in Southern California. That being said, I'd rather have us generating the electricity we need that way than dams or coal plants. Excellent videos; perfect mix of scenery and info. Looking forward to the rest!
