Tune that begins at 1:02 was at the time, and for a long time 70s-90s, the theme to a midday local current affairs show on Radio Wales, called Meet For Lunch. Most of Take Hart's audience would never know that.
When I was a kid, I was sure I could understand what he was saying. For example, when he goes into his wooden pencil case to sleep (which is so adorable), when Tony says "Goodnight" Morph says, "And don't let the bed-bugs bite!"
He's grown up a bit, but hasn't aged badly at all! It takes me back to when I watched Tony as a kid - totally enjoyed the program and always waited for Morph's bit!
I always wanted to see the first appearance of morph in take hart but i was never able to find it. It looks like he's gone a long way since he first appeared on the show :D Thanks for posting it on youtube!!! :)
Morph was an enduring part of my childhood. It's very strange to find out that he was created the same year that I was born! Many good things come from 1976 and 77 ^_^

The clip where Morph falls into yellow paint and Nailbrush pushes him 3. The clip at the end where Morph has a Rocket on Tony's desk
wonderful but um I have a question where's Morph and Chas' friends? Folly, Gillespie, Grandmorph , Delilah, Nailbrush, Goobledygook and The Very Small Creatures?? they haven't appeared for a while and I miss them
