Short story:
She was everything I wanted and more. We grew up together and always had each others backs. When she'd laugh it was as if the world stood still and all I could see and hear was her. She was beautiful. We would adventure far together, and at times get lost in the mist of the night but she would always cling close to my side knowing I'd protect her. We'd stay up late and dance around to songs she enjoyed. I'd let her dress me up how ever she pleased because as long as she was happy, I was happy.
I've wanted to tell her for so long. I wanted her to know how much she's always on my mind. Her scent, her creative ways, her voice, the way she dances, how she can tell a story and you'd never get bored. Everything. I love it all but, I was too scared to voice it.
Even though we were always by each others sides, she had her own life just as I had mine. A few months ago I got a letter in the mail. Her wedding was this month. Her heart belonged to another and I begged my own heart to not ruin her day when it arrived.
Yesterday was her wedding, and she looked absolutely stunning in her dress. Her hair danced perfectly around her face. The way she smiled at everyone. She was happy. I sang this song at her wedding, everyone enjoyed it and she even cried. She told me I was her best friend and nothing will ever change that.
This morning, looking back on it. To everyone I was her best friend singing to the groom about her. But to me, I was a broken hearted man trying to reach out to her but, I'm glad she didn't understand what I meant. She's happy, and, maybe someday, I'll be happy too.

Hate to sound negative, but making someone a priority isn't the best of choices. However, being that person, wether female or male, and standing behind that significant other despite the situation or issue, will take you far within a bonding or relationship. Fact is, people want someone who understand them, care about them, and love them for themselves. A person who can read through the Bullcrap and read through the hidden emotions. Someone who will pick them up when times are tough, and help them through it all. On top of that, trust, loyalty, honesty, and more come into play.

not as great as others tbh. i caught him with dope and a big amount of it and i'm scared to turn him in because i don't want to loose my parents. he and my mom are basically choosing my life for me. i don't normally agree with him but i can't fight for my beliefs with him because he will find a way to make it worse. i play softball and i love it but i also do something else and i've been doing it for 6 years but it's getting boring now and i don't really want to do it but they have spent so much money on it and i got hurt playing softball and he yelled at me. i'm a catcher and my wrist buckled. it happens a lot but this time it was worse and i had to play in the outfield and i was last in lineup and we lost. he finds a way to argue with anything. he has anger issues. i have been scared for my life before. he and my mom are very strict. they homeschooled me in my 8th grade year but i'm going to high school in August. it could be better but it's different for everyone. just because someone has a dad doesn't mean it's all that great. i feel like i don't have one most of the time too
