I really appreciate your transparency about no longer being able to afford to live in San Francisco and pausing your New York dreams. Too often social media makes it seem like everyone has their lives perfectly together and nothing ever goes in a different, unplanned direction! And there is nothing wrong with pausing life to decide what to do next. I took 5 months away from work last year before landing a job and an apartment in a different area.
