What a beautiful vlog in a spectacular country!! The food is seriously phenomenally photogenic!! Can’t wait to see many more videos on your TH-cam channel
Athens is my favourite city too 😊 & I was there at the end of November (my 7th visit!). The Bougatsa from Bougatsa Psirri is really nice, as are the loukoumades from Krinos! I've yet to visit Feyrouz but I have been to a Turkish Restaurant (called Green Kebab) that served delicious food!
NOOOOOOOOO! This can’t be the last day in Greece!? Ah well, what better way to go out with a bang than with a yummy food tour 🥘. I think the honey cinnamon ‘donuts’ would be my favourite street food snack 🍩 😋.
I had to pause and Uber Eats some Lahmatzoun!!!! I'm not big on pizzas or dough but this looks delish, I could almost smell and taste it through my screen 😋 Can't wait to try it! Thank you, I appreciate you! Happy travels!
You guys do the BEST food tours! My mouth is watering! Sorry Mams was disappointing we had a different experience. Thanks for bringing us back to one of our favorite cities!!!! Great video guys! ~Cara 😊
Awesome video but now I'm starving and won't be in Athens until June! Hmmm I bet somewhere in Southeast Asia? Can't wait to see where you're going next! Thailand?
Funny watching this video me and my wife are the bizaro world alternatives to you two. We are non traveller's who lived in Greece last year now we are back in Canada. I understand the need to live long term away. Good luck in your next destinations hope you can keep this up.
Like you guys, we heard a lot about Mam. After trying them, we were very underwhelmed too. But all the other food we had in Greece was exceptional! Sad this is the last Greece video but excited to see someplace new. 😁
Hi guys I don't know why you didn't like it, mam is one of the best choices for street food in Athens, maybe you tried the cheese pie (Kuru)which was a little bit dry but there are at least 20 other types of pies to try there, next time give a second try please ! Regards from a Greek citizen😀
Oh man! Thailand! Not sure why that came to my mind but seemed so different from all the places you have loved. But I’m sure you will make it a wonderful experience if that ends up where you are going.
No...souvlakia in Athens much better then Salonika don't listen. Mpougatsa yes but they don't have anything near souvlakia or kebab like Κώστα Θανάσης Λευτέρης ο Πολίτης κλπ... At Kwsta you ate the best souvlaki in Athens with the incredible tomato sauce.
I was the first person maybe only in last video to guess Thailand. So now it's all but confirmed what side are you going? Kho Samui side or Krabi side?
@@DelightfulTravellers 🙂 If you're still in Athens, you NEED to try STANI for Greek yogurt near Omonia square... besides the yogurt, make sure to also order the 'top cream of the yogurt'. It's one of the best things I've ever tried.
Unfortunately the loukoumades are not entirely authentic. They're not shaped like a donut. They are generally made as a ball of dough. I think the donut shape is to appeal to tourists. My family home is in Greece and I have never seen one made like that. I am sure that they are still very good.
We had the 'little balls' last time we were in the city. The thing is this place dates back a hundred years and there was absolutely zero tourists. It was all Greeks 🤷🏻 - Trevor
Thanks so much for responding. I hope I didn't come off as snotty. I have been to Greece probably 14 or 15 different times and spent an entire spring and summer there each time.. We do live on the west coast of the peloponnese and I have never seen one shaped like a donut. I did not mean to degradate your experience there. Whether they are shaped like a ball, a donut, or a square, the loukoumades are fantastic.
@@undertaker343 Not much of a reply. Greece is always on the verge of war with Turkey. Bombs are flying in Europe. Migrants are pouring through Mexico into the US along with cartels fighting each other. Canada and the US are going down the drain along with Europe.....There are other equally beautiful but safer areas.

Going to Athens in May23. Looking forward to the food and sights. Great video, thanks for the mapping info!
Amazing! We hope you can stop by some of these places to eat 😋 - Anna
Do a city tour. We did the Airbnb experiemce 3h city tour with Maria. Was amazing.
There are many beautiful species in Greece! And very tasty food!
I love your videos. Boy those donuts looked super yummy.
OMG those donuts are the best thing ever! - Anna

Lahmanzoun is Lebanese, not Greek.

Awe thanks guys! Everything go so much better as the 'days' went on. You can't go wrong with Greek Food 😋 - Anna
Wow food looks delicious! Athens seems very alive reminds me of Rome.
Can’t wait to visit!
Thanks for your videos. Also, your honesty about the food!
Thanks for watching!
great food tour, yum, much enjoyed. So long to Greece look forward to your next destination!!!🙏
Cheers Rudy! The next video should be out in a couple days 😀
Gyros has several herbs embedded onions and garlic that get cooked as it rolls and is sort of marinated. Souvlaki is plain meat

You’re definitely going out with a bang. Great job in Greece! Can’t wait to see where’s next! Are you going home first? Merry Christmas ey!

Good to see you again guys!❤️💙
Loved the street-food in Athens!!!😋
Just one question though: What happened to November???
Not sure what you mean? - Trevor
Missed seeing you guys live in November :(
Nice recommendations. I wouldn’t say that Lahmatzun is something typical to try from Greece though.
Supper bro
Thank you so much 😀

Why do all Americans mispronounce gyros. It not pronounced like euros (the currency) it’s pronounced like yeeros.
Pies and bougatsa are better in northern Greece than in Athens. Thessaloniki and Serres for bougatsa in many different flavors...
Oh we've had them in Thessaloniki and they were great. That video is on the channel as well 👍- Trevor

Non of the locals are eating at MAM. Try ARISTON!
With all the chaos going on in Europe now, how can anyone contemplate living and moving to Greece???
Cause we got 320 days of Sun and good food out of the 365 :P

You still confuse gyros pita with souvlaki! Study before saying such nonsense!
No disgusting onions please. Yucky. 45 minutes waiting? Heck with that. Go to the next restaurant
