- This show was unbelievable!! So well done!! Had everything I could've wanted in a Dolphins show and more!! Surprises included!! I must admit that I was shedding a few tears at the end. Will watch this show many more times in my life if I am lucky!

Even though they lost 2 games the following year, finishing 12-2, they were a better team. They destroyed Minnesota in the SB. Csonka pulverized the defense with 145 yards on 33 carries and 2 tds.
Yes, I've heard many times that the '73 Dolphins were a better overall football team than the '72 Dolphins. If only they could've played each other! Would the '72 Dolphins make a play very late in the game to give the '73 team a loss? They always seemed to come up with something unique to win a game! Once life slows down, I'd love to look deeply into the two 1973 losses. What were the contributing factors? Were there key injuries? Was there a horrible call that would've easily been overturned by replay in today's NFL? Did anything "flukey" occur? Interesting debate!! Have a great week, James!
@@19Dolphins84 The losses were to the Raiders and Colts on the road I figure the loss to the Colts the division was already decided and reserves were playing

IDX, I don't think it'll be available online for a while. I would think it'd be on NFL Network a few more times before it is posted anywhere. I can't say enough good things about it--SO GOOD!!!
The Dolphins had the easiest schedule the year they went undefeated. Look it up.
Awesome!! Nice to know that the NFL's only undefeated team every in its history had a little easier path to PERFECTION!! Great notice by you!! They definitely made a lot of teams look very bad!!!!! Then, the next year, many felt that the 1973 Dolphins were an even better team that the '72 team...and they lost two games. Go figure! Thinking about that makes it even more amazing that one team won all of the games it was scheduled to play in an entire season. I also think it's pretty cool that the PERFECT DOLPHINS had to travel to Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship Game despite having the better record. Give me a team that won it all that had to do that!! Thanks for your insightful comment. 1972 Dolphins--ain't no team done it better!!!!!!
LOL It was not easy with a 38 yr old backup QB , that had to play 10 games , they could have lost at least 1 , go sit down .
