I installed new struts on the tailgate of my old VW T25 camper and also in the pop top roof. It's easy when it is a like for like replacement. I've never thought of putting them on the bonnet of a vehicle but I might do it on my pickup because the bonnet is so heavy and my wife and daughters can't lift it easily.
It's a shame the Aliexpress ones take 2 months to arrive according to the page you linked to. I also tried the Amazon link you posted but that didn't take me to any product.

This link doesn't work for me. Any chance of an edit?
Fantastic, will be added these to my ENV200. I have made a small box under the bonnet to keep my charging cables in, so I do pop the hood quite often!
Best thing to do is place the struts the opposite way with the thin rod on the bottom. That way the lube will go down and lubricate the rod 😎👍🏼
Good tip!
Man! This is brilliant. I'll take some measurement on my E-NV200 (probably the same) and get them. Thanks!

Wich size you are using?
Not sure I'm afraid, they're sold specific to the van
