English is my 2nd language- learnt knitting as a child in Chile ...so anything here is new- Ive never heard of this Intarsia word..but its just what Id love to learnt o knit as Kafe Fassett does
Thank you! We covered intarsia in the round as part of Boost Your Knitting, so we already have a video which you can find here: th-cam.com/video/w1vQrSIDY8/w-d-xo.html Happy intarsia-ing! Jen
Thank you for this! I was wondering if you used the same colours as what was specified in the City Scapes pattern? I was going to do this scarf but I like your colours and sometimes the monitor displays them differently than what they are so I was wondering if you could let me know if you used the same ones! Thank you, I have been afraid of Intarsia for a very long time, I would like to attempt this scarf!
Hi Angela! Yes, it's a bit buried, but this section of our video on estimating yarn lengths shows how to join in a new colour. th-cam.com/video/UtW824Ynwoc/w-d-xo.html I do hope that's helpful. All good wishes, Jen
Thank you for this. Finally I understand Intarsia so much better.

@@ACTechniques thank you!!!
I’d like to see an uneven shape in intarsia. Loved this one though ❤️
It’s coming! ☺️
Thank you, looks lovely. Can intarsia be used when knitting in the round? 🌺

No, I didn’t use the same colours as specified in the pattern. I just used a random selection of leftover Felted tweed from other projects. ☺️
Do you have a tutorial showing how to join a ball of your first new colour which hasn’t come from a previous stitch? Thank you

@@ACTechniques that's brilliant thank you 😊
Just found knitting intarsia in the round in a previous video. 😁😁.🌺
You found it before I could point you at it. 😂 Happy knitting!
I’d like to see some intarsia that doesn’t have straight lines. I find it difficult to keep the joins neat.
We have a video coming that shows how to deal with a colour change that isn't vertical or 1 stitch away diagonally. I hope that will help!
👍😁👋Thank hou!
