I often buy those baby potatoes . No need to peel, just cut into uniform chunks, parboil and roast in olive oil, garlic and whatever herbs you like. Sprinkle over some sea salt before serving and you have a quick, easy and tasty side. Leftovers warm up well in the air fryer too.
Great video. I really like Lidl (and Aldi) but am exactly the same as you when I go there. I know what I want but can't see it so select something else then less than a split second later I see what I wanted in the first place (as in lean mince and cereal). No fault of the supermarket but good to see it is not only me that happens too.
Love this video... always love your food hauls but I did enjoy your shop with me looking at the products and seeing the prices! We shop in Lidl quite regularly and always find their like for like branded items taste the same and my children/husband never notice the difference! Party rings especially are a hit in our house or iced rings as they’re known in at Lidl! Another fab video! ❤️❤️

Lidl own tea bags are good the gold label are a little stronger like PG. my kids love chocco hoops on a weekend. The 39p cookies are also good. The big mature cheese for £3.99 is also good value. Lidl fruit corners are also yummy!!!

Loved all of the video hun, and the korma sauce and mix is really nice I buy them when I go shopping, also its nice with some cocunt milk in it as well as it makes it like the takeaway kormas.

I love the come shop with me!! (A bit late to the party 😅). Also with the chips, you NEED to try the straight cut chips (the packaging is brown) as they are amazing. They’re so crunchy and tasty. I don’t need to put salt on mine - they are delicious on their own!

Loved this video. I think Lidl is great value for money most of there products are made in the same factories as the branded products. I have done an online Tesco order coming on Wednesday not sure how much of it will arrive with all this panic buying. I do monthly shops and batch cook but don’t think I will be able to this month as not allowed to buy in bulk. 😞 xx
I love lidl we shop in three different shops when I do my shop once a month. Lidl for cupboard stuff and fresh veggies pack lunch stuff, pasta and sauces, fruit. Home bargins for shampoo toiletries and cleaning stuff then Iceland for my freezer stuff. I think most of lidls dupes for things taste pretty much the same if not better xx live your video x x

I think Lidls is good value in my opinion - it would be great to do Aldi next as they're quite similar and I wonder which one you end up prefering. I'm more into the haul part of the video. Oh, by the way, the sourdough refrigerated pizza in Lidl is pretty great.
Your youngest little one has a good vocabulary for her age! :) A lot of kids I know around her age are very difficult to understand. It's difficult to get ground meat in the US affordably for under 20 percent fat, I think. I wish it were easier to get something like sausage rolls in the US also, but you can only get them online, where I live, at least. Your Lidl in this video has a lot more left on the shelves than any store I see in the US locally or online. I keep hoping Lidl will open more US locations. All of them right now are up in the far northeast of the US in some of the coastal states. I hope that they do better in he US than when Tesco tried to work in the US years ago, but failed miserably. They forget that they have to change their business according to where they put their stores, I think. Everything I read about Lidl is that, at least in the US, they can't get their heads around the fact that price rules are different and what US stores do in the US is illegal in most other nations. That's why a lot of US stores never make it outside the US.

i find aldi and idil food btter value for money,better best before dates and tbh tastes the exact same as branded,could you try aldi for food shop then maybe asda xx
U have saved a bit but I cant do a full week shop in lidl or aldi as they dont stock the coffee we like or the cat food or the gluten free food for my daughter however I do do my top shops in them stores

Hi loved the experience of coming out with yourself and the beautiful Zara,I think it’s quite competitively priced as long as you enjoy the end results once cooked. My husband has this brand thing going on so will not try certain things from Aldi/Lidl and such like,myself I will try anything.
I did like the "shop with me" element. I watch a lot of people do this kind of video. I don't mind both being in the same video either. I made a second comment because the first was so long. The long skinny peppers shouldn't taste different as long as they are not hot peppers. They are a bit more cumbersome to get the seeds out of though because of the length. Do your kids like whipped cream? You could make some with a mixer, assuming you have one, very easily, even with very low fat content milk. That would be a low calorie treat for them. You're very lucky that your children will eat fruit. Is it difficult to get cold cuts or sandwich meat like that ham in the UK? I don't see very many people haul what the US calls "lunch meat" for sandwiches. I haven't seen fish cakes in the US outside of a restaurant. Can you get yogurt in UK supermarkets that have the special digestive bacteria? There's one in the US that I eat that I would love to be able to get in the UK if I get the chance to immigrate some day.

Try the small local shops I seem to find pasta and rice easily there as well as a variety of tinned goods.

I love butter but have olive oil margarine because I prefer the taste.
