My father sees the commercials on TV for cruises and he shakes his head. He told me he can't imagine taking a voyage with a few thousand civilians who have no clue how to put on a life vest or get into a life boat. My father was a Navy vet who took a very long cruise from '44-'53. He did take Cunard and the Italian Line in the 30s and after his days in the Navy during the 50s and early 60s on the Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Mary. Those were luxury liners. Even people in 3rd Class/Tourist behaved behaved back then not like the Thunderdome of today. Civility is gone because it's considered "Western" and "White". Today it's "Thug Class".
I too have been on a handful of extended cruises courtesy of the USN and have never had the desire to voluntarily get on a boat again. This video just seals the deal.
