- Rishi Sunak asked if Sir Keir Starmer can confirm whether a pledge not to raise national insurance applies to employer and employee contributions.
Starmer replied that Sunak was the “experts’ expert” on raising taxes. “I don’t think even Lord Alli is buying any of that nonsense,” Sunak quipped before asking the question again.
“I stick to my promises in the manifesto”, Starmer said, as he listed investment into the UK since the election.

Narayana Murthy, the most rich and venomous in India, spitted the venom by saing "Indians should work 70 hours per week" which translates to about 12 hours of work per day assuming a 6-day work week, to develop the nation. For him there is no difference between labourers and machines. He has licence to exploit labour legally. 😂😂

Deals for Blackstone and st least one of the others he mentioned were workedout before Labour came in. It just happens they've been finalised since they've been in power, so not down to them. Also, they conveniently forget the impact of covid (when joint decisions were taken on various things) and world events in Ukraine and the Middle East. Our economy was growing slowly, but better than, eg France and Germany. Some of their proposed policies will increase business and personal costs, so I'm not sure how that's going to stimulate the economy.... or am I missing something?
