Thank you Chas, much appreciate your comments!
Awesome. Looks amazing..
Thank you.
Hi Andre! Really beautiful... AWESOME.
I was thinking travel in september 2024.
i went in aruba for fourth time with my daugthers.
We did a lot of snorkeling in malmok, tras trapi, mangel halto...
we saw ray, tourtles, octopus.... awesome too.
But... i want to travel alone for see fishes, to same place like aruba (but other country)
I say aruba because i love it and like it very safe.
I have dived a couple of times on easter island.
I want in september to do dive and snorkel too.
I dont know whether to go to belize or bonaire or..... i dont know.
if you can help me i would be grateful !!
i saw the video and you are with sharkssss awesome!
Hi Marcia, Belize has a lot of diverse species, lots of sharks, (mostly nurse and grey reefs), groupers, rays, and school of smaller fish.
Bonaire has beautiful, pristine reefs and tons of sea life, lots of turtles and lots of schools, but no sharks and no groupers.
So if you want excitement and adrenaline-go to Belize, if you want beauty and amazing reefs - go to Bonaire.
September may be a bit stormy, especially this year there is a talk of increased hurricane activity in Caribbeans (thanks to El Ninia), so take this into consideration.
André thank you again 😂
First you did the open water dive?
And the theorist you did on line?
Hi Marcia, i did open water 22 years ago at a resort in Mexico. Both theory and practice dives at the resort PADI dive shop. Few years later did advance certification in Roatan, again at a local PADI dive shop. At that time there was no online option.
Ok Then i would try to do it in september... i was see in internet san andres... because there is no huracanes, and there is a lot of submarine life too (in picture...)
Did you go to san andres?
Maybe there i can to do the PADI
I have not been to San Andres. It looks quite attractive for scuba. Before going contact local dive shops and find out if they offer PADI open water certification.
Hi again Andre,
First thank you for your answers!
I hope you are ok, planing your new travell!
I want to know if you have a diver certification.
I tell you for the cost for each inmersion.
I dont know if you understand my question.
I pay in abruba abaut 100 USD for each inmersion.
geetings
Marcia
Hi Marcia, I have PADI advanced open water certification. Usually I buy a package of 10, 20 or 30 dives. This is the most economical as it results in the lowest price per immersion, depending on the location average between $35-40. I do have my own equipment (BCD, wetsuit, computer, mask, fins and flash light), so I do not pay for the rental. If you add the cost of the rental gear, the price per immersion would be quite expensive ($80-100). Consider getting your own gear and buying a package of dives, this will make a price for immersion closer to $35-40.
