Edit: the guitarist/back vocalist is John Wesley, he has a beautiful voice and harmonises so nicely with Steven's. Sorry if it's too much but can you maybe react to My Ashes by them to hear more of Wesley's voice as he sings the chorus by himself and it's literally haunting.
Yeah. Studio version is very good but the added drum parts in this push it above the studio. This song is just incredible. The whole album is great too. Probably my favorite PT album. What I love about SW is his range of sounds. Listen to his newest stuff and you’d think he’s a pop start. His real early stuff you’d think he was a lunatic. His middle stuff more like a metal musician. He’s all over the place.
Could be interesting to see what you think of one of the veteran bands in the prog universe - a band with a 50 year long history at this point. Band is called Eloy, and this is a fairly good piece to check out by them: "Eloy | Paralysed Civilization - Reincarnation On Stage - Live 2014"
I was curious what you would think of this one awesome song. The album tells the story and this is one part of the journey. Studio version is brilliant as well.
