If you wear the Strike Commander skin for Doomfist, he actually smiles quite friendly during the highlight into.
Well he is the good version of doomfist or should I say hopefist so he's probably way friendlier and even more laid back (probably) unless the situation call for serious so all the goofy emotes probably fit him
I would also guess it’s the same for Mercy’s highlight intro when using her Mythic.
@@thawingkarma233the intro in this video using her mythic gets some static effects. Her regular highlight intro should be her new select animation where she flies in pretending to be nice and then evil rezzes and is mad. Her other highlight intros get effect changes too, this one is notable. Her cookies one emanates red steam from the cookies, her fortune one paints the ground in a pinkish reddish color, I can’t remember anything else notable, but yeah, some things in the intros are different because like different healing beam or projectiles.

Despite having bionic augmentation, lifeweaver still being a boomer and reads from physical book instead of electronic device. Respect.
I wouldn't say it's a boomer thing. I read from physical books because it has a more intimate feel to it, also serves as a good decoration to a personal library in your home. Also makes it easier for others to borrow or pick up and read themselves.
@@waitselljones8068I'd Say it's less of a Reading issue but rather the weird thing being the book made of paper itself, It Just seems a Little odd considering Overwatch Takes Place around 2070. In a world filled with sentient robots and the most technologically advanced weapons and artifacts physical books would have probably been taken out of use In almost the entire Planet since everyone would have switched to led screens and holograms to read (Like the ones Sombra uses in her cinematic and emotes to store her information).

No way, they took LW's April Fools line and turned into a Highlight Intro.
I really like the detail that Lifeweaver is reading the same book, which seems to be a Vishkar textbook, in his highlight intro that Symmetra is in her victory pose.
Maybe Blizzard was just too lazy to create a different book... but the intro is very cool nonetheless.
The Kiriko and Lifeweaver ones are my favorites omg

I really like these new Highlight intros, especially Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Lifeweaver.
The Kiriko one is def my favourite. The Junker Queen intro is also fire.

Yall don't seem to see the little details all of these have. They're not boring, they're simple. Throwing all of your abilities into one intro hurts your eyes and it doesn't have that crisp feeling like It should. The simple Detail in Lifeweaver looking over at the camera and nodding, or Venture giving a "You see that? Yeah, cool right?" look at their drill is also a Nice touch. It's the little things that count, not everything has to be in your face.

the camera zooming in on a character's face while they're posing is boring. i love lifeweaver but even i am disappointed in the lack of any action in the highlight intros recently, his included.
Why are the Ashe and Cassidy ones from last season here?
Because those are missing from my Season 9 video, as they were added in the middle of the season and not at the start.
Mccree looks very cool with that change to OW1.

Highlight intros are like the second best cosmetics in this game (behind good legendary skins that are worth their price) in my book. The Kiriko one makes me want to get this intro and play Kiriko until I get it, and I hate Kiriko. Something about the devs making a little clip of your favorite hero(es) that isn’t just a zoom in to their face is so cool. If I make a good play as D.Va, I get to watch her chill on Tokki and give the peace sign. If I somehow do everything as Mercy, I get to watch her run in slow motion like Baywatch. Maybe I just took out the entire enemy team as Ashe using B.O.B. and now get to watch them face each other off before fighting at each other’s side. They are so hype and are just so cool to see (especially if they are unexpected like a Baywatch Mercy one).

Apparently, if you use the Overwatch skin on Doomfist, it's differents. Same goes for Mercy with her Mythic skin.
Why are half the highlight intros now so boring?😭 Like them reloading their gun or just standing there… idk giving no budget
It's kind of confusing having them change skins mid intro
I feel like the Mythic skin should be either Reaper or reinhardt
