I appreciate Honda's efforts to bring Cars with low ground clearance to such roads... Also they brought the CVTs while still knowing it's going to struggle in those roads.
Vivekji that was a very nice episode (first of the invited company drives for Content with Cars - expecting a whole lot of episodes to follow). The content regarding the car though minimal, the visuals were speaking for itself as the Elevate took the rough and tough terrain in its stride, obviously underpowered as was shared in reviews that appeared earlier - the scenery as you were driving through Sikkim, Darjeeling and these North east hilly areas was truly breathtaking. The enchanting smile and the effort to make yet another Santhosh George Kulangara like travelogue was absolutely enticing. Thank you for the efforts taken as you traversed through those high altitude, low oxygen zones of the North East - that makes me yearn to visit those beautiful heights some time in future
Actually engine is not underpowered. Its the transmission. Manual is much better. But in Honda's case CVT gives better mileage and its very smooth. Also cvt has very low maintanance. If you want to experience power lean to do its 7 step paddle shifts properly or Accelerate it gradually instead of pressing the pedal fully from the beginning.😊❤

Great content. There is a surprise waiting for you in the next phone bill. I was there two years back and the phone had auto bkp of photos. The next month bill was 4000+ Air China Intl. Roaming. Thankfully Airtel was generous enough to discount it.

Elevate is Actually superb. Personally i like it more than city. Especially the seating position and the manual has a good initial power. only thing I don't like is they put a speed lock on 160kmph
Why honda seems to be adamant about not improving its cabin noise isolation....if possible kindly convey the message. Also all automatic transmission cvt or torque Converter replacement cost is huge 4-5lakh ....does the company has any plans to allay fear of customer in this regard.

Hi Vivek... I loved this video your sprinkles of humor is fantastic. I have a doubt, can the Honda City be fitted with the Elevate suspension to increase the ground clearance, if looks is not a deciding factor?
Thank you. It may share some common fitment points, but even if it fits, the Elevate suspension would be too high for the City and would ruin the wheel geometry to be useful

Very hard people to corrupt.

I also using an Elelvate CVT not all satisfied with it's underpowered engine but the driving comfort and control are simply awsome.
